Dr. Clark grew up in Burton, Michigan. He enjoyed being a part of the Boy Scouts, earning his God and Country Award in 1973 and his Eagle Scout Award in 1974. He became a member of his church choir at the age of 14 and continues to sing with the adult choir at Church of the Transfiguration in Southfield. He has performed in musical theater, the baritone solo in Handels Messiah and more recently with the Plymouth Oratorio Society. Dr. Clark has been treasurer of the Mens Club at Church of the Transfiguration (formerly St. Michael) for over twenty years.
Dr. Romzick was born and raised in Detroit and Grosse Pointe, attending Dominican High and The University of Michigan. After dental school, she spent a Residency year at the Wilmington Delaware Medical Center to receive additional training in emergency medicine and care for medically compromised patients. Dr. Romzick was a twenty-year board member and treasurer of her Homeowners Association, Arbor Park, in Farmington Hills and remains active planning social events. Three grown children, Andrew, Emily and Meredith, balanced her professional career with family life. Andrew is an attorney in downtown Detroit and Emily has an MSW, now studying for her MPH. Meredith graduated with her DDS from the University of Michigan in 2020 and is a Captain in the US Army Dental Corps. Dr. Romzick enjoys long walks with dogs Lance and Rugby and swimming competitively with US Masters Swimming.
I earned my associate degree as a Registered Dental Assistant from Washtenaw Community College shortly after being certified as a dental assistant. In the office my main responsibilities are to assist Dr. Clark, keep track of supplies and place orders weekly. I also help in the business office when needed. Outside of the work environment, I enjoy just being at home. My favorite music is classic rock from the 70s and 80s and my dream vacation would be to visit Hawaii. Maybe someday!
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan and began working for Dr. Clark and Dr. Romzick in 2001. My main responsibilities are to care for, educate and empower our patients to achieve their best oral health. I love what I do and hope to continue for many more years. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids, Alex and Emma, my husband Steve and our dog Baxter. I also enjoy reading and relaxing by our pool. You will find Classic Rock and old-school hip-hop on my music playlists. Someday, I would like to take a dream vacation to Bora Bora or Tahiti and stay in an over-the-water-bungalow!
My name is Mahita and I started working here in early 2021 as a chairside assistant primarily for Dr. Romzick. I have a bachelors degree in dental surgery from India and my long-term goal is to become a licensed dentist in the US. That goal will first require additional study and training in a US dental school. Working as a dental assistant has helped me understand and become accustomed to the people and cultures found in this community. I feel fortunate to work under the guidance of such great doctors and team members whose main goal is to provide excellent care to all the patients. The exposure to new techniques and procedures that I see in this office makes it exciting to come to work every day.
We are a family of three with my husband and our adorable daughter. I miss our family back home very dearly and hope to see more of our parents in the future. I love to shop, listen to music, spend quality time with friends, relax at home and cook a variety of dishes. I absolutely adore dogs and want to adopt one in the near future.
I graduated from Mott Community College with an Associates in Applied Science in Dental Assisting and then earned my Associates in Dental Hygiene. As a dental hygienist I work closely with Dr. Clark and Dr. Romzick to help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health. I am trained to understand your medical history, screen for oral cancer and identify disease in your teeth and gum tissues. My ability to treat gingivitis and periodontal disease as well as give patients strategies to control these problems is gratifying; I Love what I Do!
My family keeps me busy when I am not at work. We live on a lake and enjoy boating, jet skiing, and kayaking. I also love gardening. My daughters, Sophia and Scarlett, are members of the Stingray All-Stars competitive cheerleading team and my husband and I travel with them to competitions throughout the year. Health and fitness are important to me so workouts at the gym, especially at Orange Theory Fitness, are part of my routine. My favorite color is pink, my favorite books are the Outlander series, my favorite movie is The Notebook and I love country music! Oh, and Go Tigers!

I like Dr. romzick a lot. It's easy to get anxiety before a dental appointment because I've had dentists in the past that come across as judgmental if you don't floss enough or damage your teeth. Covid made it difficult for me to make my last couple of appointments and the Dr. just laughed it off and talked to me about their system for getting patients in quickly that have tough schedules. Really appreciated the respect and candor. Very personable and easy to talk to.

Dr. Romzick really cares about her patients. I recently had a dental emergency when the office was closed but she made arrangements to treat me so I would not be in pain over the weekend. The office team and dental staff are also awesome! I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Dr Romzick has been my dentist for over 30 years. We have five children and she has simply been outstanding. I am very impressed with Dr. Romzick. She cleaned my teeth thoroughly and explained every procedure. She further explained other things that need to be completed and told me what would not be covered by insurance and I certainly appreciated that. I see this as being a long-term relationship.
