  • Clark Orthodontics - Orthodontist in Woodbury Heights, NJ

Ive been an orthodontist for more than 30 years and AAO board certified since 1995. I enjoy the daily challenge of designing treatment plans that are realistic and efficient, and result in the most optimum smile. Patient comfort has always been my first concern, and keeping current with new products and techniques, such as Invisalign, help me and my team deliver quality results in a comfortable timely manner.

After receiving my Bachelor of Science in biology from Albright College, I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine, where I graduated in 1982. Following my general practice residency at Reading Community Hospital, I attended the University of Pennsylvania postgraduate orthodontic program, and graduated in 1985.

I always strive to provide the highest quality of services for our patients, and I can only do that by participating in continuing education courses. The more I know about the latest methods and technologies, the better treatments I am able to provide. I have been actively involved with Invisalign for more than ten years, and always attend their yearly summit and local study club with other highly experienced orthodontists. As a part of my continuing education, I have also been teaching dental residents at the Virtua Hospital for the last 18 years.

I have been practicing orthodontics for more than 30 years, and am proud to have a wonderful staff working alongside me. Having a staff that has been with me for many of those years allows us to stand out over our competition. Our team is on the same page, striving to maximize patient care and positive experiences. My goal is to treat all patients like family members, and I take my professional responsibility very seriously.

I am native of Cherry Hill, and have lived in Haddonfield for the past 20 years with my wife Roseann, and five children: Allison, Veronica, Carolynn, Eddie, and Suzie. My hobbies include golf, skiing, riding my motorcycle, and fixing and repairing anything that requires me to work with my hands.

I also think it is important to be active in our community. I coached my kids in little league, softball, and soccer. Now, I am a fan not only of my own children in high school, but all my patients accomplishments. I have also been on the board of directors for Bancroft Neuro Health for more than five years, and have been a member of national ski patrol the several years.

I am thrilled to be able to give back to a community that has given me so much and helped shaped me into the person I am today. I am also so happy to have finally realized my dream to work alongside my father, Dr. Ronald Clark, in this amazing practice!

I chose to pursue a career in oral healthcare after witnessing the personal satisfaction my father found in his practice and getting involved in volunteering in dentistry on my own. Growing up, I was able to see how many lives he touched and the relationships he built while creating beautiful smiles, and now I get to witness that magic myself!

I graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School and received my bachelors degree in biology at Dartmouth College. I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, in Baltimore, after which I completed a postdoctorate residency in general practice at Virtua Hospital in Camden. I completed my training in orthodontics at the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia and am an active participant in local study clubs.

It is essential to learn and grow as a practitioner in order to provide the best care for patients. I am as committed as my father to delivering quality care that improves lives, and I am hard at work to learn not only from my father, but from some of the leading minds in our profession.

At Clark Orthodontics, patients receive the perfect combination of experience and innovation. Since my father has more than 30 years of experience under his belt and I have joined the team, patients receive the best care!

I grew up in Haddonfield and moved back to the area after going away for college and dental school. I plan on staying for the long haul! Im the oldest of five children and close to my siblings.I am recently engaged, and my fiance, Tim, and I are looking forward to our future wedding.

Though work takes up much of my time, I try to make room for relaxing with my family down at the shore. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new people, places, and cultures not to mention new foods!

I waited to post my review since I was expecting to hear from them about some other referrals they never got back to me to follow up about that. I came for a consultation after my dentist suggested this office. I do not enjoy dental/Ortho as it is and was very nervous, which was obviously not picked up on. I was the last appointment on a Friday and I felt like I was hastily moved through my consultation. By the end of it, Dr. Clark literally slowly backed out of the room while his assistant "preoccupied" me, like I didn't notice? It was very rude and unprofessional and after all this, being told I would be called back and then I wasn't. I cried in my car on the way home.

Dr. Ally and the rest of the staff gave me the smile I've always wanted! I started treatment when I was ten but recently came back in after a minor softball injury. Everyone welcomed me with open arms and kindness! Got my new retainers super fast and can't thank them enough for fixing me up and giving me back my smile! 10/10 recommend going here!

This review is from a parent of a patient...Our experience has been overall pretty good but strange because of Covid. The staff is great, treatment precise, appointments always right on time without a wait. But their Covid rules in the beginning left parents in the parking lot which felt awkward. To send your kid in somewhere for treatment and not be able to be there with them was weird. But we understand the office was just trying to keep people safe in the pandemic and going forward hopefully that won't be an issue! Another minor annoyance we have is the cell phone reception (for AT&T at least) is terrible so it's hard to catch up on work from the parking lot while waiting for the kiddo. Most excellent front desk reception though, top notch!

What a wonderful office! Very easy to schedule an appointment. Staff was all super helpful! Doctors are great! There was very little wait time, super efficient unlike other doctors where I have waited over an hour. They are also very honest and did not try to do more for my child then was necessary! So excited to continue our treatment with them!

I could not be more pleased with our experience with Dr Clark and his wonderful staff. Always so friendly, accommodating, efficient and thorough. Still blown away when one of the staff members met us for a quick fix on Christmas Eve, over and beyond, always making us feel so important. My son went through the process and has a beautiful smile to show for it! I am so thankful. My daughter is now about halfway through her process, can't wait to see her finale as well. Many thanks! Highly recommend this office!

I am currently 23 years old and although I had braces for 2-3 years in middle school (from a different dentist) and was compliant in wearing my retainer every night, my teeth had shifted. After going to my dentist twice a year for my check-ups/cleanings, they would never address that my teeth had moved until finally just this year I asked them if there was anything they could do, as I felt insecure about my smile for years (especially because my two older sisters have perfect teeth)! So thankfully they referred me to Dr. Clark and I could not be any happier with the results! Just with a retainer and some follow up visits, over a period of 5 months or so, he was able to fix my teeth and my smile! My "problem teeth" were my two front teeth and not only did he straighten them but he also aligned my ENTIRE upper set of teeth. Just with a retainer! His staff is also very friendly. I go to Optometry school in PA and so I frequently had to change my appointment days/times but the staff was always very accommodating, always patient, and pleasant. I hope that I can save people from making the mistake I made by getting braces from my regular dentist instead of a talented orthodontist like Dr. Clark. If I could go back in time I definitely would have gotten my braces here in the first place!

Very unprofessional, instead of answering questions he came up with cocky remarks instead of answering, nor did he give us more time to ask more than one question.

This was the WORST appointment I have ever been to. I could not believe how unprofessional Dr. Clark was. I came in for a consultation and I expected to get all answers to all the questions I had before I left, instead I got none. Dr. Clark was in the appointment for about 5 minutes, not even. He basically judged me the whole time from the clothes I was wearing to the lack of interest he had in helping me when he was in examining my teeth. He even asked doubtfully "so you're doing this all on your own? Well uhhh good for you..." I guess because I'm a college student and mommy and daddy don't pay to get me by.. After telling his assistant all the problems I had with my teeth, he was out the door in no time and I was then being consulted by the dental assistant. This is a consultation, why is the owner of the practice not taking 10 minutes out of his time to sit down and tell me what is next???? Nothing like a waste of time while feeling so uncomfortable. On top of that, they did not even call my original dentist office to ask for any previous history and I had to go out of my way to ask my dentist to send over recent X-rays of my teeth. This was the worst office I've ever been to. Dr. Clark was so unprofessional and really is all about getting your money like other reviews say. I would not recommend this office to anybody.
