Dr. Clark Henderson grew up in San Diego and wanted to be a dentist for as long as he can remember. His father, Dr. Robert G. Henderson, was a dentist in the Air Force when he fell in love with San Diego while there on assignment. The following year, with his military service completed, he moved his wife and young family to San Diego and eventually founded his dental practice in University City in 1964. Dr. Clark Henderson worked as a dental assistant in his fathers office while attending Mission Bay High School and Point Loma College. Subsequently, he attended UCLA Dental School, receiving the highly coveted Regents Scholarship. He graduated with honors in 1987. He then realized his dream and joined his fathers practice, where he has practiced dentistry ever since.
Dr. Henderson is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, and the past president of the Neil Brahe Study Group. Since graduating, Dr. Henderson has completed continuing education annually in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, management, technology, and sedation in order to best serve his patients. Dr. Clark Henderson lives in Valley Center with his wife Heather. He loves to fish, camp and anything else that involves spending time with his family. He is also a well-known breeder of English Mastiffs, the largest breed of dog recognized by the AKC.

Sincere thanks to Dr Henderson and his staff for fitting me into their busy schedule at short notice, to glue my front veneer back in while I was on vacation in San Diego. I so appreciate the kindness and caring shown by this dental office.

Dr Henderson is the Nicest, most Caring dentist I have ever worked with. He is a very knowledgeable, honest and reasonable guy. And he does a great job on the teeth. I have been seeing him for more than twenty years. I would never go anywhere else. I just had a cleaning with Hygienist Lisa. She was great.

First off, I am not good about going to the dentist. I cracked one of my molars and I had to go somewhere to fix it. They got me in as soon as possible and fixed my busted tooth. The procedure went great and I am returning for routine cleaning and check ups from now on. Clean and professional.

Recently I went in to get new porcelain caps for my front teeth. The temporary ones that I needed to use weren't quite the right color, but I understood because they were just temporary. However, the office called me within days saying that Dr. Henderson had found some different temporaries that more perfectly matched the bright white look I was hoping to show off at graduation. He went out of his way to make sure I got in the office and replaced the old temporary one of the ones that look amazing!!

Dr. Henderson and his team are always top-notch at what they do. Even in emergencies. My son was having dental issues over the weekend. One call on Monday morning, and I was able to get him into the office that same afternoon for an emergency visit. The staff made him feel comfortable and at ease for his examination, and were able to set a referral for a specialist the very next morning. Thank you one and all for your professional and friendly service.
