Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

The Friday evening preceding Memorial Day weekend a crown came off. My dentist doesn't operate on weekends, and so I sought care at Claremont Modern Dentistry, a practice I had visited once before for a routine cleaning. I had hoped they could simply reaffix my crown. I went in, the dentist informed me they couldn't reattach it b/c he noted there was an infection. I told him that if I needed a new crown or even an implant, I'd want to see my regular dentist. He said the best they could do was create a temporary crown for me. When I left, the receptionist told me my dental insurance would not cover the temporary crown and charged me $250. I was shocked. I'd never had to pay for a temporary crown. I later learned from my insurance that they will not pay for a temporary crown if all of the work is not completed by the same dentist. I cannot believe that Claremont Modern Dentistry didn't disclose the temporary crown wouldn't be covered by my insurance. I never would have agreed to pay $250 for a temporary crown to be in place for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (3 days! That's $83 a day). My insurance rep recommended I submit an ethics claim to the ADA. In this economy and with inflation being what it is, who can afford to pay $250 for a temporary crown to last 3 days?

I recently switched dentists for insurance reasons. I am really happy with the services (scaling, crown) I received from Claremont Modern Dentistry. I appreciate their modern technology which my former dentist lacked. I feel confident about entrusting them with my dental needs.

Excellent dental care. This is the best dental office I have been. Clean and modern office. I take a 40 minute drive to get here and it is worth it. They have all the modern dental care technology.

Had my first visit on Tuesday with Dr. Lee and Nancy(hygienist). I hadn't been since before COVID and was dreading what I would hear. The front office was friendly and Dr. Lee took her time to listen to my concerns unlike every other dentist I have seen in the past that comes in and out with in 5 min. Nancy was patience with me as I am not an easy patient to work with. Thank you all see you in 3 months.

I'm leaving a 2 star review because the office was very nice looking from the waiting room. Unfortunately that is all I saw. I had an appointment scheduled for over a month and was very excited to try out a new dentist after have some issues with my last one. My appointment was at 1:00 PM. I got to the office at 12:50 so I could fill out my paperwork. There was an online form to fill it all out so that went by easily. After a few minutes, the other patients who got there after me were all brought to the back and seen. I saw the dentist I was supposed to see, Dr. Schneider, leaving the office around 1:25. I was wondering why the secretary said Dr. Davidian would see me... but I guess Dr. Schneider had someone important to be. It would have been nice to be informed of this before I left work. I mean... I had this scheduled for almost two months. It wasn't until 1:50 that I decided to tell the secretary I was leaving. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said yes just out of courtesy. I figured someone would contact me to apologize for the situation, but nothing. Today the secretary called me and asked if I was coming to my next appointment. I told her no and I don't want to reschedule. It's just courtesy. I was very excited to try out this office. But I would have prolly just been another number to them anyways.

I have been one of Dr. Lee's patients for over 20 years! She is ***AMAZING*** My husband and my daughter are also her patients! I have referred my mom and brother to her office they are also her patients. I'm always referring friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to her office. She is professional, smart, knowledgeable and always makes me feel so comfortable at each visit with her. I have also known Marissa her office manager for over 20 years! She has always been so helpful, caring, knowledgeable and gives good advice when it comes to dental work. If you are looking for a new dental office look no further! "Claremont Modern Dentistry" is it! Thank you!!! Dr. Lee & Marissa for everything you have done and continue to do for me and my family!

Do NOT go to this office for any procedure. I was told to get my wisdom teeth out and following surgery was never given a follow up, in fact after never receiving a call for my follow up appointment (like they told me they would) I called and the receptionist and office manager said follow ups aren't necessary. I was terrified of getting dry socket so I took meticulous care of my wounds, but ended up getting two infections on the same side (which I later found out stemmed from the work done and the manner in which the area was reconstructed and sewn up). It was a horrible recovery period and when I called them after the second infection, to have it drained bc it was near Christmas and no one else was available), the doctor that saw me literally said "oh no the person who did this left so much gum behind, it's not good this needs to be fixed" - as I sat there and said "it was done here". I truly advise you not to go here for any type of procedure, stick to cleanings (don't let them up charge you on laser) and that's it. As someone that was trying to be on top of my dental care it's so disappointing to know that going here caused me more issues than anything.

The dentists and staff are good and courteous. Efficient system. Just be wary of the charges. They seem to have a tendency to charge more for the services and when you ask for refunds after checking your coinsurance.. forget it. I have called so many times and never get an answer or get the run around. They also were going to charge another patient $300 more for dental procedures but when he confronted them, was told it was due to the new medical records system they are using!

Update 1/17/2022 I can now confidently say that I'm glad I did not follow Dr Lee's advice to have gum surgery and the subsequently get my molars removed. After seeing a periodontist (gum specialist), I underwent a non-invasive gum treatmeny and my gum health is now restored. I didn't need the expensive and invasive gum surgery nor did I need to get my molars removed. In fact, I'm getting orthodontics work done and they have no issues with my gums whatsoever. BOTH my periodontist and my orthodontist told me they are glad I didn't get invasive surgeries...avoid this doctor!! Clearly he has no clue what he was talking about and he would've irreversibly taken my money and my good teeth for no reason. ------ Original post in 2019 Dr. John Lee was very helpful in explaining my conditions. Not having seen a dentist in 15 years my condition was bad, but I was ready for it. He told me I had perio-related issues, but no cavities. He said I needed to get a series of procedures including my molars removed and gum surgery and referred me to Dr Yuen. We had scheduled appointments and were set to proceed. However, I decided not to follow through after the deep cleaning. I'm okay with moving forward with things and confronting problems, but I left because John did not listen to my original desires. Despite his efforts to help me, I honestly felt like he made me feel like I was running out of options. This feeling was too pessimistic for me so I left. I've seen other dentists who are seeing my issues but are also listening to what I want and it's working out well. I am currently seeing an expert periodontics who specializes in the issues raised by Dr. John Lee. Nancy was a great hygienist.

Horrible experience. Waited 40 minutes. Full frontal x-ray taken. Those were not enough. I went in only for a cleaning. Dentist claimed he could not do a diagnostic without a full set of additional x-rays. I understand this. However, after a long wait in this covid atmosphere..all I wanted was to get my teeth cleaned, no diagnosis necessary. This is NOT a customer or patient friendly office. Making money through the dentist diagnosis far outweigh the patients or customers service. DO NOT go here. Waste of your time. There are better dentist who won't try to use circular logic to try to convince one to do unnecessary x-ray just to clean your teeth. Since I refused to get the additional x-rays, the dentist refused to clean my teeth. There are better customer service dentist in Claremont

I didn't end up going to this dentist office, because their customer service is so unorganized. They have more than one team talk with you and they are so discontented form one another that you cannot rely on the date they will provide for you. If I can't rely on an appointment date that the office provide, how I am suppose to plan for my other aspect of busy life? The two star is that the people I spoke with were polite and friendly.

I had several extensive periodontal surgeries with Dr. Yuen, and had an amazing experience under her care. She provided excellent quality and made herself available for any questions I had throughout my healing process. She always responded quickly to any questions I had and explained everything in a way I could understand. I've also had a great experience with Claremont Modern Dentistry office. It is easy to reach staff, who are organized and helpful. I've recruited my family to get dental care at this office. I highly recommend anyone to seek care with Dr. Yuen and this office.

I had the worst experience with a dentist I have ever had in my life with Dr. Nhan Dang in January 2020. I saw Dr. Dang after seeing another dentists at the practice who recommended a few fillings. I wanted to get a second opinion so I saw Dr. Dang. dr. Dang recommended I get a crown and then possibly a root canal and one filling. I said I thought it was off she recommended a crown when the other doctor recommended a filling and she literally said let me show you something and literally HIT MY TOOTH WITH A SMALL HAMMER with no warning. It hurt so badly and definitely made the cavity worse. She did it on purpose. I let her do the filling and it hurt for months afterward. She had the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered from any type of doctor. Do yourself a favor and just get a PPO if you can do avoid dentists like this and make sure your dentist has a degree from an institution in the United States. The office staff here are nice and easy to schedule with and the facility is nice and clean. However, my cleaning also wasn't ideal. They pressed so hard on my teeth it hurt for over a week afterwards. They also tried to sell me several things I had never even heard of. I've never not had dental insurance and I've always gotten cleanings twice a year. This place is NOT CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY. Do not go here.
