Our doctors represent decades of dental experience and have advanced training in each of the procedures they perform. We are led by Dr. Ryan Clagett, the third generation of our family practice and a double board-certified specialist in periodontics and implant surgery.

Clagett Dental Solutions services include crown restoration, dental hygiene, gum disease treatment, and full mouth reconstruction. We are the regions leading provider of same-day crown replacement, which offers patients a natural-looking and functional dental crown in a single visit. Together with our sister practice, Clagett Periodontics, we can also use dental implants to restore the full strength and aesthetics of broken or missing teeth.

Supporting each procedure with advanced technology and dental resources available. Our investment in 3D X-ray machines, digital scanners, and in-office crown production allows patients to have treatment in fewer visits, less time, and better comfort.

Dr. Bob Clagett founded Clagett Dental Solutions in 1947. Over the years that followed, Bob was a well-respected stalwart of dentistry as well as a community leader. He was also instrumental in implementing fluoride in the Elizabethtown area, an important innovation in preventative oral health.

Dr. Ryan Clagett comes from an entire family of dentists. His grandfather started the practice back in the mid 40s, and both his father (Dr. Dan Clagett) and uncle worked there as well. Today, Dr. Ryan Clagett is carrying the torch as the CEO of Clagett Dental Solutions, where hes helping his patients achieve smiles that are healthier and more aesthetically pleasing through his work as a surgical specialist.

After attending the University of Kentucky to earn a bachelor of science in 1999, Dr. Ryan Clagett headed to the University of Louisville, earning his doctorate of dental medicine in 2003. To further broaden his horizons, Dr. Ryan Clagett earned a Masters in Oral Biology as well as a specialty certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in 2006.

Dr. Ryan Clagett has extensive professional achievements that he uses to help his patients get the results they desire. He is double board-certified in both periodontics and implant surgery, so he has the skillset and experience to perform a wide array of surgical procedures.

Outside of his work at Clagett Dental Solutions, Dr. Ryan Clagett has also made large waves in research and education. Hes recently published an article detailing his new approach for treating recessing gums, and he is currently collaborating on research with the University of Alabama Birmingham on gum recession treatment.

Outside of dental care, Dr. Ryan Clagett is also passionate about the practices charitable outreach program, which provides donations to local organizations in need. Dr. Clagett is married to Cassie and has 3 children, Owen, Canyon and Lennon. In addition to spending time with his family, he also coaches baseball and soccer, races triathlons and is die hard Notre Dame football fan.

Dr. Lindsey Milby always knew she wanted to do something in the healthcare field.Throughout her professional career, Dr. Milby has used this firsthand experience in the dental chair to empathize with her patients as she helps to recreate their smiles. She joined Clagett Dental Solutions in 2010 and is currently a senior doctor at the practice.

Born and raised in Elizabethtown, Dr. Milby attended Central Hardin High School. She then went on to the University of Kentucky to earn her bachelors degree and the University of Louisville Dental School for her doctoral degree. After graduating in 2010, she returned to her hometown to join Clagett Dental Solutions.

To continue her education after earning her degree, Dr. Milby also attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where she learned about some of the latest advancements in dental procedures. With this knowledge, she is able to accomplish one of her main goals providing family dental care thats both aesthetic and comprehensive.

Some of Dr. Milbys most passionate areas of practice are cosmetic cases, where she can use her advanced training in same-day crowns, prosthetics, and smile makeovers to completely transform someones mouth. Shes also Invisalign certified, so she can help patients get the straight teeth theyve always yearned for.

Dr. Milby is happily married to her husband, Mike. They currently have two kids, Palmer and Sloane, as well as two dogs. If she is not spending time with her family, you will likely find Dr. Milby on the tennis court where she is a Masters Division State Champion.

Dr. Wylie Tang was involved with dentistry from an early ageat his familys endodontic practice. From there, he gained and followed his passion to care for patients in search of a compassionate dental experience.He joined Clagett Dental Solutions in 2021and is currently an associate doctor at the practice.

Dr. Tang completed a Bachelors degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to earn his doctoral degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. To further his education beyond his degree, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, as well as a TMD and Orofacial Pain Mini Residency at the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry.

To continue his education after earning his doctoral degree, Dr. Tang completed anadvanced training at the University of LouisvilleGeneral Practice Residency, where he trained incomprehensive dental and medical treatment, surgery, and the management of dental emergencies.

Dr. Tangs areas of expertise are same-day crowns, dental extractions, and emergency management. In addition, he has undergone advanced training in jaw and joint pain and associated disorders. He strives to use his knowledge and skillset to accomplish dental care that is patient-centered and comprehensive.

Teaching and education are areas of passion for Dr. Tang. He is a presenter and published researcher in clinical instruction and leadership for dental schools. He worked as a Mentor at the University of Nevada School of Dental Medicine and is now a Lecturer with the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
