Dr. Carlos Sibaja earned his degree in 1999 from Ulacit, Costa Rica. He practiced in Costa Rica for three years before moving to the United States. His passion for preventative dentistry started long before he earned his degree. He is passionate about educating his patients on the importance of prevention of oral problems. Dr. Sibaja ensures that his patients are informed enough so that they are able to make informed decisions along side of their dentist. He practices with extreme care insuring his patients receive the highest level of standards.
He has taken courses from some of the top dentists across the country and loves to pass his knowledge on to his patients. Dr. Sibaja has a thirst for knowledge and is interested in on going educational courses to insure his patients are not only getting cutting edge information and services, but also the best there is in preventative dentistry. He believes that Prevention IS THE NEXT MEDICINE. His desire is to inform his patients and teach them how to better take care of their mouth, and learn how to prevent future visits when it comes to periodontal problems.
In his free time he can be found either hanging out with his wife or playing soccer. He is passionate about both! On any given weekend you can find him playing in a competitive soccer game. He is a family man and has very high values about the importance of family time. He is also an avid animal lover and has a beautiful Italian Mastiff at home.

I recently went to CJ Dental. I had a dental cleaning and it was very well done. I had a full x-ray done and Dr. Carlos Sibaja reviewed the results and I found out that a previous Oral Surgeon, left a piece of tooth in my mouth, when they performed bridgework on my back molars. That was good and bad news. But, he assured me, the bridge could last a lifetime. I will continue to go to CJ Dental and encourage other people to go there also.

Honest and transparent. They got me in same day for a consultation and were extremely helpful in outlining a plan to help me. I have a receding gum line and needed help strengthening some teeth that are loose. Highly recommend for any dental needs!

I have been in pain for so long, The very expensive dentist I had been going to misdiagnosed my problem . From CJ dentist my Crown was replaced and I'm finally pain free. I am so happy that this dentist was recommended to me , best experience I've ever had at a dentist office . They also offer a lot more services at the best prices. What a bad bad experience. I went there for a tooth implant. The whole tooth with the screw fell off after one month. I got my money back but I already went there 7 times, each time takes two hours round-trip driving from San Diego to vista. Oh, And the front desk is unprofessional and Low class. If I have the option I will give them a minus Star
