Dr. Oz has been practicing dentistry since 1998. Hecame to the United States in 2002 to pursue his goals. He completed a general dentist practice residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, a post-graduate training program that is fully accredited by the American Dental Associations Council on Dental Accreditation. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Oz joined a practice in Minnetonka, Minnesota and more recently, a practice in Sartell, Minnesota. He loves being a dentist and is skilled in many procedures, including endodontic therapy, implants, and extractions.
Soccer is a passion for Dr. Oz. He enjoys watching and playing soccer. He plays a variety of positions, but does not care to be the goalie. Dr. Oz. plays soccer one to two nights a week at the Plymouth Creek Center Dome, the Twin Cities Futsal or outdoors when the weather permits. His favorite teams are Real Madrid of Spain and Arsenal of England. His favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid.
August finds Dr. Oz back home in Istanbul for harvest time on his familys hazelnut farm, where he hosts immediate and extended family for an annual reunion with plenty of food and fun. Dr. Oz believes family comes first. He has one daughter, Melike. She is almost 13 and likes to draw. Dr. Oz has lived in downtown Minneapolis for over three years.
Our staff is uniquely trained and highly skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each one of our team members has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Whether on the phone or at the front desk, Sue is the welcoming presence of CityScape Dental. She has been the Office Manager since 1996. If you have questions or concerns about finances or insurance coverage, she will provide expert guidance. Sue will always strive to make your visit with us an informative and comfortable experience.
Sue has been in office management for over 30 years. She has honed her skills in continuing education programs offered through the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Dental Association, consistently earning recognition for excellence. She has been a member of the 'Upfront Study Club' for dental office managers for many years.
Lisa came to work at CityScape Dental in 2012 when her father, Dr. Jim Arndt, retired and Dr. Dave acquired his dental practice. Her responsibilities are varied and flexible to meet the needs of the office team. Her goal is to make each patients dental visit a welcoming and caring experience.
Terra has been with CityScape Dental since September 2018. She graduated from Century College in 2001 with Dental Hygiene Degree. She was also a dental assistant prior to completing her college. Terra volunteered for various organizations such as Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile providing Dental Hygiene Services.
Terra is dedicated providing the best care to her patients with most up to date technology. She and her husband Jon have four children, Travis, Bryce, Saydee, Tavien and two grandchildren, Liam and Lincoln.
Kelly has been part of our team since January 2018. She has been a licensed Dental Assistant since 2011. She holds a Dental Assisting Certificate from Herzing University. She is currently enrolled at St. Catherine University to finish her bachelors degree in healthcare management. She will be graduating this coming May 2019.
Nancy prides herself in providing excellent dental hygiene-related services. I strive to ensure that my patients understand their dental health condition, and explain ways to improve their oral health through the services I provide and what they need to do at home. I take pleasure in helping them complete their work in an enjoyable and satisfying manner. State-required continuing dental education courses and seminars enable me to stay current in patient treatment, techniques and technological enhancements.
Jamie has been part of our team since March 2019. She has been a licensed & Certified Dental Assistant since 2014. Jamie holds a Dental Assisting Diploma from Dakota County Technical College. She has extensive experience working with children and enjoys volunteering with Give Kids a Smile. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her three children, lifting weights, travelling and being outdoors.
There is a 20 car parking lot in the back of the building and that is where patients should park. If that lot should be full we will validate anyone who would need to park on the street or at the parking lot of Renaissance Depot Hotel.
Permanent teeth will begin to grow around age 6, and except for wisdom teeth, are all present between ages 12 and 14. The next teeth to grow in are the 12-year molars and finally the wisdom teeth. Wisdom teeth typically begin breaking through from age 17 and on. The total number of permanent teeth is 32, though few people have room for all 32 teeth. This is why wisdom teeth are usually removed.
Your front teeth are called incisors. The sharp fang-like teeth are canines. The next side teeth are referred to as pre-molars or bicuspids, and the back teeth are molars. Your permanent teeth are the ones you keep for life, so it is vital that they are brushed and flossed regularly and that periodic check-ups by a dentist are followed.

Billing misunderstanding. Had both a major dental plan and a discount dental plan. Both plans were used during my first multiple visits. Then I was told on my last visit that my discount plan could not be used because the doctor would not be fully compensated. I was disappointed because I was paying for multiple plans in order to lower my responsibility. I did not fully understand the logic when the office manager tried explaining this to me. My employment background related to serving the customer. I did not feel this was the case. In all my visits I have been told that the doctor needs payment in full prior to doing the work. I have always adhered to paying my portion as requested. It would have been nice to have been able to pay in installments if a patient has adhered to the department rules and established a relationship. I am very satisfied with the doctor. He does excellent work. II would not be willing to refer a friend or relative because it would be uncomfortable.

Super sweet and caring staff! Very on top of the insurance process! I was having some wisdom tooth pain, and they were able to squeeze me in early on a Tuesday even though they were booked. I was only expecting to get a quick consult and referral, but they were able to pull it right there! One and done and on my way!

My experience at City Scape Dental was absolutely great. Dr Oz performed a root canal procedure. He was clear throughout the whole process and explained what he was doing every step of the way. The staff were so welcoming and the office looked amazing. Highly recommend city scape dental for you next dental service needs!

Hands down the best dental crew in the metro. Dr Nureddein Ozturk is a phenomenal one stop dental professional who will take care of all and any of your dental needs. Front desk ladies are very friendly and extremely helpful. Went in with my wife to have her teeth looked at and cleaned. The whole crew from reception to hygienist to Dr Ozturk was very welcoming and professional. Scheduled follow ups for both me and my wife for root canals with crowns and possible implants. Will highly recommend this clinic to everyone who's looking for a great place with highly skilled professional team.

Today I had the complicated procedure of performing a Crown in place of a badly damaged and chipped tooth. I was briefed and prepped on the procedure as we went, and then giving sufficient numbing agents to ,minimize pain. The result was a successful procedure completed in just over an hour. Dr Oz and his assistant, Jamie, worked in tandem with patience and provided tremendous service. I highly recommend the entire team for others to try and I just love the office layout and the professionalism of the entire team.
