Dr. Stuart Ross provides his patients of all ages with a variety of treatments and surgical procedures, such as Invisalign Orthodontics, dental implants, bone grafting, extractions, restorative dentistry, laser gum treatments, and more for his valued patients.
Tina Miller, is a native of Springfield, MA. She received her Dental Assisting Certification in Raleigh, NC, in 1992. She has been a resident of the Washington, DC area since 1995, and has been with our practice at City Smiles DC since 2008. In 2017, Katja joined the team and started her dental career as a Patient Coordinator, specializing in scheduling, insurance claims, and treatment plans. She grew up between Heidelberg Germany and Ft. Lauderdale Florida. She attended Florida State University and before moving to Washington DC, lived in Australia for some time. Patricia Devine grew up outside of Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University and Villanova grad school. She moved to Chevy Chase, MD in 1979. In 2001, she met Dr. Stuart Ross and the rest is history. They married in 2011. She is the mother to Jeff, 44, Brandon, 39, Lauren, 34, and grandmother to twins Molly and Caden, 6. After retiring from the Lab School of Washington in 2016, she joined City Smiles DC on a part-time basis. Dr. Ross and his team (Laura, Tina, Janay, and Tawana) were all very warm, welcoming, and super attentive to my concerns during an initial consultative visit. They took the time to understand the reason for my visit, but more importantly, ask me what I wanted out of the visit and for my overall dental care. Dr. Ross walked me through both short and long term care plans to ensure that it's manageable from a lifestyle and financial perspective. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist!

I went to see Dr Ross today knowing I had.a cracked tooth. I wasn't mentally prepared to have him repair it right away as no one is enthusiastic about having old fillings drilled out and repaired. He was so reassuring and suggested that since I was on borrowed time with the tooth the best option was to fix it. I relented and am glad I did. An hour and a half later, with no pain and no drama, Dr Ross and his supportive and capable assistant , Tawana, sent me on my way with a new gorgeous filling and a fully repaired molar! Dr Ross has been my dentist for years. I am always impressed with the superior quality of his dentistry. Thank you Doc!

Dr. Ross and his team are a class act. If it would be possible to give Dr. Ross and his team 10 stars I would. Dr. Ross fitted me with veneers over twenty years ago. However based on my age, I felt it was time to have new veneers fitted. I traveled many miles from my home (including a two night stay in a DC hotel at my own expense) to have Dr. Ross and his team fit me for veneers today. The experience was pain free, filled with professionalism and expertise, however most importantly to me, my experience was filled with kindness. Final result of my new veneers today...Fabulous. Dr. Ross and his team are truly fantastic. I've had significant dental anxiety my whole life after a rough dental experience as a child, but my first visit to City Smiles was the most comfortable I've felt in a dentist's office to date. Their expertise, technology, and impeccable bedside manner made a world of difference. They were able to get me in on short notice, were very generous with their time, and answered all my questions with patience, candor, and detail. As a business operator myself, I can say with confidence they run a well-oiled machine over at City Smiles and I strongly recommend them.

Dr. Ross and his staff (special shout out to Tina and Rose) are the BEST! I am a very anxious patient who literally digs my nails into my hands when getting a cavity filled, but Tina and Dr. Ross kept me calm and even laughing the whole time. They use state of the art techniques, materials and equipment, so I always know that I'm in good hands when I come to City Smiles. I can honestly say that I no longer fear the dentist!

I've been to multiple dentist since I've had an accident involving my teeth, Dr. Ross was one of if not the best. He gave me my options and we discussed them in a way that was easy to understand and in a way that allowed me to make the best decision for me. His staff was extremely nice and attentive and the office environment was top notch. If you are looking for a dentist to meet your needs, Dr. Ross is the one.

This office has been great! My husband and I both go here, and while it's not the cheapest option, it's well worth it to feel comfortable at a place few people love going to. They're really attuned to any potential discomfort or anything that may be bothering you, and frequently check in with how you're doing and offer options for making you as comfortable as possible. The office does require full payment up front, and I totally understand it can be difficult to pay a large sum up front for many, but we have had no issues so far having them submit to our insurance and getting reimbursed (depending on your plan of course.) Finally, very minor thing, but my birthday is coming up, and the office gave me a parting card and a mini cheesecake as I was leaving! I understand this has nothing to do with the dental work itself, but minor things like this at an office make you feel like they care about their patients.
