Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I am leaving because of their billing practices. I got a random check in the mail, turns out my insurance paid more for a filling I had 20 months prior. So they kept my money for 18 months before reimbursing me.

I went to City Park Dental for them to reattach a retainer. They reattach it, all is fine. One and a half months later it breaks again so I go in and they want to charge me to reattach the retainer that broke off after one and a half months. After I complain, they then mention that they don't have the right glue to attach it and it's not something they do. Why was I charged in the first place for a procedure they can't complete and why did they think it was okay to charge me again for it?

READ BEFORE HAVING ANY RESTORATIONS HERE I have amended my review after speaking with the current office manager Full disclosure, I haven't been to these dentists for 3 years, and it appears the general dentists have completely turned over since then. I did use this group for about 4 years, and in that time frame, rarely saw the same dentist twice. it was run more like an assembly line, with the dentist doing a brief exam, and any necessary drilling, and support staff doing everything else (reviewing xray results, performing restorations). again, i have been told they changed their practices and things are different now. for those who have issues with cavities, READ THIS PART. at the time i was seen, their management of dental caries was strictly with inlays and onlays, specifically with the CEREC machine. at the time, they did not perform fillings, though i am told now they do; they still use CEREC for onlays and crowns. my understanding is that although it allows for a same day restoration, it requires removal of a much larger portion of the tooth, even if the cavity is small. of the 5 or so restorations done with this "technology", I've had 5+ failures, including one that failed 3 times within 4 months. i couldn't say whether the technology is flawed, or if it is a technician problem (yes, my restorations were NEVER performed by a dentist). the restorations generally felt uneven and honestly, sloppy. my new dentist questions some of the choices made, such as a "3/4 crown", which left a remaining sliver of natural tooth vulnerable to fracture. even worse, insurance counts that as a crown and wouldn't pay for my new crown. so i was out about $1500. and yeah, they did upsell me an ill fitting $400 night guard which i wore twice.

DANGER - SCAM - DO NOT GO HERE I went to City Park Dental for years. I had 2 root canals done in the fall of 2020 and the specialist was suspicious right off the bat. He said the teeth didn't need to be done, then forgot which they were, then..... and the worst of them all... did them INCORRECTLY. He made some excuse at the time for why he may not be competent enough to do it but here I am 2 years later being told by a competent dentist office they both need to be redone ASAP and there was no reason they shouldn't have been done correctly in the first time. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dentist so you won't need a more skilled office to go over their work. The cost of this is astronomical and I wish I avoided City Park Dental at all costs.

Had a crown put on by City Park Dental a couple years back which is now EXTEMELY sore. Can't eat anything solid, constant throbbing, swollen jaw. when I called to schedule an appointment to just get the tooth completely removed, they said I would have to come in for an evaluation appointment first. When I advised that I couldn't wait that long due to the pain, they pretty much just told me to kick rocks. Would not recommend for crowns or if you need urgent scheduling for something. It seems to be a very clean office though, so there's that...

This office is just trying to take as much money from you as they can while providing talentless dental work that will need to be fixed by someone else. Office manager was totally clueless and worthless with any sort of customer service. She basically told me off and that there was nothing she could do and that she was caught in the middle of this. ??? Okay "Office Manager"? Turns out this is their M.O. and she is part of defrauding customers. They recommend and aggressively push unnecessary dental work and I'm suspicious of them purposely causing damage to create future work for themselves, sort of like a sleazy car mechanic but way worse because this is your health. Apparently no one in this office had to take the Hippocratic Oath.

This place is a scam. They informed me that I had moderate periodontitis and would need a deep cleaning. Conveniently my insurance didn't cover most of the cleaning, and I was pressured into paying almost $700. How could I say no? They made it sound serious. I should have been wiser; they had periodontitis infographics posted everywhere! Two other patients In adjacent rooms were also discussing deep cleanings with the staff. They said to come back in 3 months, but I learned my lesson. Fast forward six months, I went to a genuine hometown dentist--zero indications of periodontitis and absolutely no need for periodic deep cleanings. Please - DO NOT go here. I never post reviews, but this place deserved it.

Dr. McDavid is the nicest healthcare provider I've ever had. She also doesn't BS and lays out all scenarios for you which is refreshing - she clearly cares about her patients over profit. Thank you Dr. McDavid & City Park Dental!

This office is amazing, called in and the office got me in the same day! Dr Mcdavid was very informative and I appreciate the time she spent with me going over all my treatment. I had a lot going on and have always been nervous about the dentist, but they put me at ease.

More interested in a payday than patients. Went in for a routine cleaning and yearly exam and this hygienist from hell spent most of my visit trying to get me to agree to a very expensive procedure. After nicely trying to let her know I wasn't sure, she continued to pressure me. I'd been there for 45 minutes without seeing the dentist or getting my cleaning. The dentist came in and could clearly see I was upset. She said and did nothing and high ended it out of the room. The hygienist came back in to ask again about the suggested procedure. Take a hint. I ended up leaving without my cleaning and feeling very upset. They even charged me for the cleaning I didn't receive. If this is your type of dentist office have at it. I'll be looking elsewhere!

I am very happy with this office, I am a student and don't have a lot of money. I needed a crown and the office gave me a payment plan so that I could get the treatment done! I love these ladies!!

I received 3 crowns from City Park Dental Group, they put them in incorrectly and said that they would refund my money. I have not received a refund and am having trouble with my gums due to their error.

Extremely expensive, the girl at the counter was rude, and it took me 5 tries to get my records from these guys. Don't waste your time and money.

My wife and I love City Park Dental Group. Dr. McDavid is wildly talented and is extremely warm at every visit. Her staff is professional and caring. We wouldn't trust our teeth to any other dentist.

I am by no means a fan of going to the dentist, as most of my experiences have included long waits, and what generally feels like a waste of time. However, the ladies at City Park Dental were very sweet, and got me back to the room quickly, took care of the cleaning, and sent me on my way. Dr. McDavid was very professional, and was able to break a lot of stuff down in layman's terms which I really appreciated. This is what a visit to a dental office should be like. Looking at some of the 1 star reviews this place get is actually pretty comical- I really don't get the hate. You see folks complaining that they have a filling/crown/general tooth issue all in the same breath that they are saying they haven't been to a dentist in YEARS. If you don't take your car for routine maintenance for years, and then something goes wrong, do you get mad at the mechanic for saying it needs a lot work and that it is going to cost money? No- because that would be ridiculous. You know full well that your negligence is what ultimately costing you that money. Some people seem to think that the folks at City Park Dental group are out to get them, but it seems to me like lack of personal responsibility is actually being taken out unfairly on a very professional and courteous bunch at CPDG.
