Dr. Chin graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with dual bachelor's degrees in biology and sociology. He further pursued his education at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Today, Dr. Chin practices general and cosmetic dentistry and enjoys helping his patients achieve their dental goals. It is his mission to provide honest and high quality dentistry so that patients get the most out of their dental visits.
He keeps current on new developments in dentistry by attending continuing educations courses including at USC and UCLA, reading academic journals, and staying an active member in many dental organizations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

I normally am scared of dentists and the entire experience. I never fear coming to City of Angels Dentistry! Always courteous, quick, and painless. I would recommend this dentist to anyone! Also, when I worked at the City of Los Angeles, they took my insurance. Convenient downtown location

Just had my intial exam and cleaning with them and I can say.... What a great staff! What a great dentist. It's been five years since I've been to one and I'm so glad I chose this place to go. They're kind, courteous and friendly beyond belief! The dentist truly cares about you and takes the time to listen!! I'm honestly excited to see them next time to show them how well I did on the exit instructions I was given to maintain my teeth!

Best dentist practice I've been to! Exceptionally nice staff, very clean and modern office, excellent and careful cleaning and thorough check up with lots of time for my questions. I hope they give the front desk receptionist a raise to keep her around because she makes the visit an incredibly welcoming experience!

Beautiful modern facility plus the addition of LA's BEST dentist Mark Sakakura this is the place to go for gentle, quality dental work. We have been with Sakakua over 25 years and entrusted him with our jaws and teeth. Great caring people who we continue to use even after moving 100 miles away. Thank you Mark for being there for us.

Shanica is the sweetest and always greets us with the warmest welcome. Dr. Chin is also terrific, takes the time to listen, addresses concerns and provides honest and fair treatment options. My husband and I both come here and appreciate how efficient they are. The office is modern, clean and aesthetically beautiful. 5/5

Super happy I found Dr. Chin. After making an appointment I received an online questionnaire to fill which made the first time visitor process easy. The office itself was clean, bright and modern. My visit included the standard x-rays and cleaning. However, the difference was the amount of time that Dr. Chin spent listening to my concerns, explaining the current state of my teeth and the care that he took with my cleaning. It was actually the best cleaning that I've had in recent years. He also made sure that I knew the out of pocket cost vs. insurance coverage for my next visit when I need to do some deep cleaning. I usually get that information from the person working at the front desk but he had it printed out and showed me. I appreciate that level of transparency. I highly recommend Dr. Chin and his team!

Definitely the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. As I get older, going to the dentist becomes more of a struggle for me personally; as comes with an aging body. I have had previous dentists that are a bit judgmental and it makes me avoid the experience through and through. So I do have to commend Dr. Kevin Chin for being so kind and understanding. I feel safe and welcomed. Overall, I do feel as though I'm getting the Cadillac of treatments here. Highly recommended!

Really great experience here!!!The environment is super clean and professional!Dr.Kevin here who is a USC Alumni, I trust USC!He was very patient and nice, He explained all my question comprehensively. He was very professional and provided me teeth cleaning without any uncomfortable! His assistant gave me a overall exam and took many photos gently!(Yeah, super gentle, and she is really care about the patients'feeling, thank you so much!). The assistant at the front desk is so sweet and makes me a great impression of this place!Thank you all!!! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Best dentist place that I've been to! Kevin really takes to the time to explain everything that is going on in your mouth! I got to watch Netflix while they were cleaning my teeth. It didn't feel like going to the dentist. I felt comfortable and they even gave me cute goodies at the end! The office is super clean and organized! I would highly recommend going to city of angels dentistry !

Bit into a Carrot, it messed up my retainer... they squeezed me in, literally 1.5 hours later i am back to eating my lunch. Great Vibe.
