Our staff is trained and skilled, and each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. I have been a Dental Assistant since 1999. I enjoy working chairside with the doctor and making sure that our patients feel comfortable. I enjoy educating patients about the importance of oral health and providing preventive dental services to help each patient obtain the optimal healthy smile.
In 2020 I have graduated from Fox College with an Associate degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I am certified in periodontics, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide sedation. Building lasting relationships with my patients and delivering optimal care is my priority. I have always been a people person and it fulfills me to know that I am able to help my patients with their smiles.
I am a foreign graduated dentist from India. I have worked as a Dental Assistant from 2019 to 2020, and now I am a Treatment Coordinator for City Edge Dental. I love that iI will be able to help to restore and promote the overall oral health of the patients. My role is to ensure that the patient understands the treatment procedure and why they need the treatment.
Dr. Gula believes that everybody deserves a beautiful smile. Dr. Gula earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Toronto, in Toronto, Canada. She then attended Northwestern University in Chicago, where she was placed on a Deans list and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. Dr. Gula has extensive training in endodontics, extractions, and is certified in Invisalign and Lumineers. Dr. Gula enjoys skiing, traveling, hiking mountain climbing, camping, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Waeil Elmisalati is a board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon at City Edge Dental of Chicago. He graduated from Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine receiving his degree in periodontology, dental implants, fellowship in periodontology, and masters degree in medicalsciences from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Waeil also taught as a professor of periodontics and dental implant at several academic institutions in the United States.
He has published and reviewed research articles in reputable national and international dental journals. In 2016, Dr. Waeil became a Diplomate of theAmerican Board of Periodontology. Dr. Waeil Elmisalati is well versed in minimally invasive dental surgery including impacted wisdom teeth extractions, gingival grafts, and implant placements. He is also an expert consultant for Joint Commission on Dental Accreditation of the AmericanDental Association.
Dr. Waeil Elmisalati finds being active in the community is crucial as a healthcare professional. In the past few years, he volunteered his time to provide free dental care as part of the Mission of Mercy. He also involved in organized dentistry, being an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Academy of Osteointegration (AO), the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). In addition, he is an ambassador for the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
He moved to Chicago after living in Boston for several years for his education. In his spare time, Dr. Waeil Elmisalati enjoys exploring new restaurants, cooking, skiing, running, cycling, traveling, and spending time with his friends.
