Dr. Nguyen practiced in different areas in Southern California for 5 years until he joined City Dental in 2019. Since 2020, Dr. Nguyen has managed the Westminster location, overseeing the care of all the patients that come through the office.

He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but is highly skilled in esthetic dentistry. Upon recognizing Dr. Nguyens acumen in implants, Dr. Jimmy Tran decided to take Dr. Nguyen under his wing and mentor him.

Dr. Nguyens passion for learning and growing makes him stand out as an up and coming leader in his field. He is constantly learning the newest dental techniques and regularly attends seminars and classes to expand his skill set. He aspires to become a specialist in implants, all-on-four treatment, full-mouth reconstruction, and sedation. Dr. Nguyens priority is patient care and pays special attention to listen, understand, and respect each of his patients.

Dr. Thuy Vo is a native of Orange County. She graduated from UCI with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After that, she attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Ryan Nguyen graduated from UCLA in 2010 as an engineer but quickly learned that his passion resided in taking care of others, not sitting at a desk. Therefore, not long after graduating, he decided to join the US Navy (SWO) to serve as a US Naval Officer. While excelling in his duty as a leader, a manager, and an officer, Dr. Nguyen continues to follow his calling of helping people. With the support of his Commanding Officer, Dr. Nguyen would take time on and off duty to volunteer in operations that specialized in healthcare. Through dental missions in Mexico and Haiti with Dr. Tozzer at his institution, Dental Care for Children, along with shadowing Dental Officers and Dr. Manriquez, an orofacial pain specialist, in Fountain Valley, Dr. Nguyen found the love for dentistry where he can utilize his unique skills to fulfill his desire of helping others.

After his commission, Dr. Nguyen enrolled in dental program at University of California, San Francisco, and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Since then, Dr. Nguyen has worked for City Dental as an associate dentist and has plans to run a practice of his own one day.

Dr. Nguyen enjoys getting to know his patients and understanding their needs in order to properly give care. He specializes in preventive, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, but aspires to master every aspect of dentistry in order to give a comprehensive dental care to all his patients.

Furthermore, his goal is to help his patients improve their overall health and quality of life. In his free time, Dr. Nguyen loves to stay active. He enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and hiking. He also dedicates his free time towards volunteering activities in his church and community.

Aaron Quick has worked in the Dental Industry for more than 13 years specializing in Workers Compensation Care Management. As time in this field continued, Aaron realized his passion lies in helping the patients and those in his community receive the best dental care and treatment possible. He strives to help all patients return back to their pre-injury state by making sure all necessary treatments get authorized.

Aaron has been working closely with Dr. Jimmy Tran for the last 8 years as the Workers Comp Case Manager. Throughout the years, Aaron has accumulated a wealthy amount of knowledge and has become well-acquainted on the Workers Compensation system. Aaron also works quickly and efficiently with the Adjuster and Attorneys to get the necessary treatments authorized for the patients. As a team, they have successfully help many patients restore their smile and happiness.

Aaron was born and raised in Southern California and is happily married to his wife of 13 years. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family whether its at home barbequing or outdoors camping.

Abel Aguilar graduated from UEI College for Dental Assisting in 2010. Since then he has been working as a Registered Dental Assistant for over 12 years and with Dr. Jimmy Tran for over 4 years at City Dental. Abel is also the Regulatory Compliance Officer for the back office staff. He ensures that the team operates and complies with the regulations, bylaws, policies, and other legal requirements. Abel reviews and set standards for the safety of the office and patients.

Abel is committed to providing exceptional and professional service to all. He enjoys learning new dental techniques in order to improve his skills even further. His profession is not only limited to general dentistry, but also has a considerable amount of experience in difficult dental medical treatments such as TMJ Therapy, Implants and other oral surgeries. As a team, Dr. Jimmy Tran and Abel have been able to help many patients restore their smile and overall health.

Dr. Jimmy B. Tran, DMD,was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine for his undergraduate program, receiving his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry in 2000.

Dr. Tran graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine in 2006. He received an award from the Crest Bright Smiles program for his many hours of community service during his education.

He practiced in Las Vegas for 2 years before relocating back to California. The past 9 years, Dr. Tran has practiced in Southern California. He has special training in Implants, Sleep Apnea Therapy, Air Way Development, Orthodontics, IV Sedation. He is a part of a small community of dentists in California with a Qualified Medical Examiner Certification.

Dr. Tran has advanced training in dental implants and the All-on-Four treatment concept at the Sclar Center for Advanced Implant Dentistry Learning, and through Nobel Biocare, the world renowned proponent of the All-on-4 implant treatment technique.
