Dr. Akhondi received her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from CA State University, Fullerton in 1995. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Dentistry from New York University in 1999 and then continued to practice dentistry for two years in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Akhondi moved to San Francisco and worked as an associate for ten years in Fremont and San Mateo offices before opening this practicein San Carlos, CA. She has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. She has been living in Belmont with her husband and two daughters for the past 18 years. She loves the wilderness, hiking, biking, and camping with her family on the weekends.
Lilian started her dental career in 1999 as aRDA and then continued her education and is currently working as a Dental Hygienist. She has been practicing dentistry as a dental hygienist for over 15 years and practicing in our office for 8 years. Her priority is to take care of her patients and closely monitor their progress and toreceive the best care. In her spare time, she enjoy spending time with her family, traveling and seeking great adventures.
Ayda is a dental hygienist who started in dentistry right out of high school as a dental assistant. She has a passion for teeth and caring for her patients, over 5 years of dental experience. She became and RDH after extending her education. In her free time she enjoys hiking and outdoors activities.
Ruby is a registered Dental Assistant and Office Manager with more than 10 years of experience working with Dr. Akhondi.Ruby is veryfriendly and helpful to her patients, speaks fluent Spanish, She enjoyshiking and rock climbing on weekends with her husband and lovely 2 years old daughter.
Stephanie is a friendly and dedicated Dental Assistant who has worked with Doctor Akhondi for more than 8 years. She speaks fluent Tagalog and enjoys working closely with patients, making sure they get the best dental experience at their visit. She enjoys hiking andbowling on her weekends.
Shelvy is a dedicated Dental Assistant who has worked with Doctor Akhondi for more than 1 years. She speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys working closely with patients. On her free time she enjoys long walks with her dog and outdoor activities.

Everyone was lovely and the dentist was gentle but thorough. They made sure I was comfortable and pain free throughout my procedure. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Akhondi professional and personable and skilled, and staff are very skilled. The front office doesnt feel like a stuffy dental office, Ruby is great, she adjusted my schedule needs (traffic). Stephanie prompt with getting you prepped for the operatory quickly, Lillian's great hygienist at cleaning( at time I doze off). Netflix too and coffee too. I look forward to seeing Akhondi for my crown soon.

Dr.Akhondi%27s team is a gem in the Bay area. They make me feel at ease every time I visit, which is not something you%27d be able to say often about visiting a dental office. They take the time to know their patients and accommodate their needs. Ruby%27s diligent follow up with setting up appointments and making sure the visit goes smoothly makes the appointments all the more pleasant. My family and I have been visiting with Dr.Akhondi for the last 6 years and with City Dental Group since they opened because it%27s a team of professionals who provide themselves on their impeccable patient care and services. You%27re not just another patient here. I could not recommend City Dental GROUP enought!

I needed an office that opens on weekends and my sister got me an appointment right away. Our whole family now come here and loves it here. Friendly, efficient yet they treat you like family. Awsome.

This is a wonderful place to have your teeth taking care of. I've been doctor Akhondi patient for at least 8 years and I'm so glad she's my dentist. The office is beautifully designed and all high-tech. The assistants Stephanie and Ruby are fantastic! I finally learned how to take care of my teeth because my dental Hygienist Lillian is excellent. I strongly recommend this office, they treat you like family.

City Dental is THE BEST! I've followed Dr.Akhondi throughout her practice. From Fremont to San Mateo to San Carlos. Her staff are great as well. It's a pleasure coming here, even though it's a dental visit. =) She and her staff treat me like family. 10 starts if I could!

OUR WHOLE FAMILY LOVES DR. AKHONDI OFFICE. THE STAFF IS AWESOME. SO HELPFUL WITH FINDING THE PERFECT APPOINTMENT AND TREATMENT FOR YOU. THE OFFICE IS BEAUTIFUL. MY 10 YEAR OLD LOVES GOING THE DENTIST, SINCE HE GETS LOTS OF SPECIAL ATTENTION. I RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST TO EVERYBODY. WE LOVE IT HERE

one of the best dentist I have seen in a long time, professional, takes her time and treats every patient with respect. my insurance was giving me a hard time and she actually helped me alot with my dental issues. my whole family goes to her now and we all love her
