Throughout years of practice, our founder realized that the best dental care is only available to those living in the most expensive neighborhoods. And as for the other neighborhoods, there were a lot of offices providing service that was not the best, to say the least. In these areas, people and patients were treated like numbers. These Dental offices or clinics operate like factories with no personal care. So we decided to give our neighborhoods what they deserved: the best of both worlds.
Dr. Sam started his practice in our first center in Pico Rivera, CA. The vision began in that office. The Vision was to create neighborhood dental centers where every patient will be treated like family with the most caring, gentle approach; to treat our patients with the kind of service you would get at a boutique private dental office in the best of neighborhoods, but not with those fees. City Dental Centers will do everything in their power to have the most affordable prices.
Dr. Sam believes there is no reason why families in all neighborhoods should not have the best, most modern, and the highest quality care available to them like the affluent families have in their neighborhoods. Furthermore, we have the skills and tools to make dental services affordable. In most cases even more affordable than the big factory-like clinics. Dr Jeff is the best Dentist I have ever came across. I have been to plenty of dentist and with Medi-cal there is not always alot they can do. I didnt feel they really took the time to try or even really cared. But Dr. Jeff would send referal after referal to get me the best care I could get I have a smile now because of him. He is also soo sweet I am a scaredy cat when it comes to the dentist and he makes it not so bad at all. You can tell he really cares about his patients like genuinely cares. The world could use more Dr. Jeff's thats for sure.

Super rude Hygienist with me and my little brother. I went and the lady was washing my teeth telling how it's nasty because of saliva like expecting me to keep my mouth dry like if that would be even possible.

Don't fall for the happy people pictures facade they plaster everywhere that your eyes can see. And don't blindly trust the 5 star reviews. I got teeth surgery done here one time and now I have chronic jaw pain years later. I am giving one star for accomadating service with cleaning and because they take dentical patients. One of the asian dentists I think he's called Dr. Jeff suggested I get tooth buckles. Then he started poking very small and specific spots in my teeth that have never bothered me in my entire life when I ate or drank anything and it really hurt. Me being naive and trusting him blindly said ok since it was under dentical. And then he suggested to make my bite have less pressure. Stupid me said ok again. And he didn't even give me the step by step process of the procedure of depressurizing my bite which was grinding away the molar enamel on the top and sides!!!! He just started doing something to my teeth then I immediately knew what was happening when I smelled my enamel being grinded away. So now whenever I want to close my mouth I have to put more pressure than I would have before!!! I wanted him to stop but he kept going anyway because he wanted to make my teeth look more symmetrical...but most likely because he wanted to get paid bigger bucks. He said the pain of the buckle fillings would go away a couple months but I still have this pain years later. If your teeth is already straightened out and pretty lookin', no matter what they say DO NOT get baited into doing more teeth work done here so they get more money. They might end up screwing it all up. .

I went to that dentist during Covid in January 2021 because my dentist was unavailable at that time. I subsequently received two crowns. They been replaced since then and I had to pay $1200 out of pocket because it was too soon for my insurance to cover the crowns. My gums since then have been swollen because they were put In improperly. I've lived with pain for a year now. I now finally had them replaced and feel much better. I have filed a grievance with my insurance and hopefully they will reimburse me. I'm so glad I decided not to go back to city dental center because Dr George obviously didn't know what he was doing. So disgusted!

The staff here is extraordinarily friendly. They're patient and understanding if you have a lot of questions. The dentist and assistant are courteous, professional, and especially cooperative. They are not pushy in any manner. Whatever you need is their priority and will get it done. Going to the dentist can be nerve-wracking and intimidating but you won't ever get that here. I recommend this place to everybody. This is a dentist for everyone. The rating goes up to 5 but I give this place a 10/10.

Angie the Office Administrator as always was professional and made sure my Care Credit account was updated and ensured my payments were within my budget. I recommend this practice to all my family and friends !

I drive 35 min just to come to this specific dentist and doctor, after being traumatize elsewhere I regained my trust here, the doctor know what he's doing and makes you feel comfortable. I'll recommend to everyone!

I 100% recommend City Dental. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed a few days ago. I was nervous as heck but Dr Jeff was awesome. He made sure I felt no pain at all. He explained everything that he was doing and why it had to be done. I've never found a dentist that I didn't mind going to, but he is great. The girls that work there are also very nice.
