What a place! The staff, technology, and cleanliness- fantastic. I had a dentist recommendation in Boston that turned into a weird experience with a previous dentist. Coming here off another referral.. I was nervous. It's been beyond expectations! All of the staff that I've had work done with over the years at CITIDental have been terrific but special shout to Dr. Hart and Natalie Bishop! Natalie is honestly the best Hygienist I've ever worked with. She's given me great tips to improve my dental health in-between appointments and in the chair she works magic. Dr. Hart helped me through several procedures- I've had root canals, Invisalign, and more. My teeth are finally in good shape! Thank you CITIDental! This review is long overdue. I'm moving to Chicago and for the first time in my life, really going to miss an office. I know you'll take care of your patients, take care of yourselves!!

I was referred to this office from their sister office as the oral surgeon only comes to this location on Mondays. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and the process couldn't have been easier. None of my teeth were impacted so it was an easy operation, it couldn't have taken more than 5 minutes to remove all 3, after waiting about 10 min for the anesthesia to quick in. I was worried that such a fast procedure would leave me with more pain and soreness afterward but that wasn't the case, on day two I hardly felt any pain even without pain meds, my cheeks felt sore more than anything. All in all it was a good, standard procedure and the staff was very friendly too.

The staff, Jay and Diana, and Dr. Arif are amazing! I am so happy I found this team at CITIDental because I've had a lot of dental work done in the past and "liking" to go to the dentist is a plus!! I highly recommend making an appointment at their convenient location on Tremont Street, just minutes from Government Center and Park Street Station.

I went here right before my insurance ran out. They did a cleaning and they wanted to re-do an old filling I had. They re-did the filling on a top molar. However, I left the appointment with a lot of sensitivity in my bottom molar, on a tooth they supposedly didn't touch. My insurance ran out so I was unable to get it looked at again. Additionally, I had to ask for my records emailed to me 4 separate times and they finally realized the 4th time I called that they were sending my email to a .con vs .com address. Very unhappy with my experience here. If you have a distrust of the dentistry profession, this place will make it worse.

Have never had a poor experience here - have always been met with a welcoming front desk team, and fantastic hygienists and dentists for all of the work I've had done. I've certainly recommended this office to friends and colleagues who have inquired about finding a local dentist.

If I could give Dr. Minna Kachka, D.M.D negative stars, I would. I have been visiting CitiDental Tremont office for about 1.5 years now. Dr. Amir Aryaan did some amazing work and I was really impressed. However, the past few visits seem like the practice is showing its true colors. Bottom line is being squeezed due to the pandemic and their parent company needs more revenue. Natalie, the dental hygienist, is great and consistent, but I have been getting a revolving door of dentists. No personal care and the straw that broke the camel's back was Dr. Minna Kachka, D.M.D. Didn't seemed like she cared about anything, but getting me back into the office to squeeze out payments from dental insurance. She very much seemed like a used care salesperson. I confirmed her conclusions were false by going to two additional dentists/orthodontists. What shame, I will not be returning.

Wonderful treatment by a well oiled team of dental health professionals. What a relaxing experience while receiving such quality health care. I only expected the initial exam but I also received a cleaning with advanced x-rays and external imaging and Drs exam with report as well as options for possible future treatments. Jerry Lee

Today was my first cleaning at Citidental, such a great experience! The entire staff was so welcoming. Diana and Lovey are so pleasant and helpful at the front desk. Rose was so kind as she took all my x-rays, then I saw Dr. Dafjola and Natalie for my cleaning who were both very efficient. They made me aware of some minor gum recession I had, and a few areas that are harder to clean that I should watch out for. All in all an awesome experience. Can't wait to come back for my next cleaning. :)

Best dentist I've had in years. Honest. Upfront. Well staffed. Absolutely no complaints. When the HELL was the last time you heard that about a place who just pulled 3 teeth out?? Highly recommended

This was the worst dental experience I've ever had, I would give it zero stars if that was possible. I had previously seen CITIDental for a cleaning and was pleased with their care and service so I decided to have them perform my wisdom teeth removal as well. The removal of wisdom teeth is generally done by an oral surgeon, not a dentist; CITIDental has a visiting oral surgeon come in on Mondays only. I didn't receive any instructions prior to my appointment and when I inquired if there was anything special I should know/do beforehand, they said no. When I showed up for my appointment Monday afternoon, they sat me down and explained they would administer localized anesthetics then pull the teeth. I told them I was very nervous and asked for laughing gas or something to calm my nerves and they said no, I should have asked for that ahead of time and if I wanted that to be part of the procedure I would need to reschedule my appointment; this seems like something they should have told me when I originally made the appointment or when I called a second time to ask if there was anything I should know beforehand. I decided to forge ahead anyway, at which point they asked if I brought headphones to block out the noise. I hadn't because, again, no one had told me to (another thing they could have told me when I asked if there was anything I should know beforehand). The oral surgeon proceeds to pull out all four wisdom teeth (the bottom two being very impacted) in no more than 20 minutes. Normally, I would cheer for such a quick doctor's visit but when it comes to having teeth pulled I would think taking the time to be gentle and minimize pain is more important than speed. After the procedure was over, I asked if there were any care instructions I should follow or if I needed a follow up appointment; they said no straws or smoking then sent me on my way with a prescription for 600mg ibuprofen and a single piece of paper with general "tooth extraction" care. The next day, I started feeling terrible pain in my lower jaw and the ibuprofen was not cutting it. I called CITIDental letting them know how bad the pain was and they recommended taking the ibuprofen in combination with Tylenol. The swelling and the pain continued to worsen over the next two days to the point where my entire neck was swollen and I was unable to sleep through the night because the pain was so splitting. I called CITIDental again Thursday morning letting them know I was still in awful pain and they begrudgingly let me come in so they could check it out. When I got there, they took one look and agreed something was wrong - a bacterial infection in one of the lower sockets. But because they didn't have an oral surgeon in that day, they couldn't help me, not even to give me something for the pain to tide me over until I could see an oral surgeon. I ended up having to go to another oral surgeon in the area later that afternoon who was shocked when she saw how bad the infection was. She said it was good I had come in because if it had gone on much longer the infection would have spread to my throat and constricted my esophagus.

I have always had phenomenal experiences at CitiDental Tremont. I was nervous when looking for a dentist in Boston, as I had gone several years without seeing a dentist at all after moving to the city. They were kind, helpful, and made me feel immediately comfortable when I went in for my first cleaning and though I definitely needed some work done, I never felt pressured and the staff worked with me to divide it up so it was manageable both medically and financially! That was several years ago now, and I keep going back because everyone from the front desk staff (especially Diana!) to the hygienists to the several dentists I've seen are all so great to work with. I always feel like I understand what is happening and am involved in my dental care, from insurance to treatment itself. They take the time to explain things fully and it never feels like I'm being rushed or that it's inconvenient to answer questions. I also recently started Invisalign treatment with Dr. Bejleraj and that process has been just as seamless as I've come to expect! Overall I cannot recommend CitiDental Tremont more highly.
