Dr. Alwan is 1991 Alumni of N.Y.U. (New York University) dental school with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). In addition he has obtained a General Dental residency Degree at Saint Joseph hospital in Paterson, New Jersey in 1992. He started his career working in a very prestigious practice in New York City which allowed him to hone his skills in the art of cosmetic dentistry.
In 1995 he established his own private practice in Prospect Park, New Jersey from ground up and grew it dramatically for the next twenty two years dedicating himself and the office to provide the best care possible to his patients and offering a variety of constructive and aesthetic treatments. Dr. Alwans greatest achievements are not just his success in his career but rather the friends and relationships he built through-out his career and maintaining loyal patients, where they traveled hours to continue their loyalty with the NJ office.
Personally, he is a proud father of a 21 year old son who is now in Dental School, following his parents footsteps in being a service to the community. Dannys (his son)personal story to the board of education was about a time where he really noticed how much service and help he can provide to a community by helping them with their oral care. I chose this path fore I saw the smiling faces and happy hearts from those, my parents helped.
Dr. Kashou was born and raised in sunny San Diego and received his undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego, with a major in biochemistry and cell biology. During his time at UCSD, he was a part of the pre-dental society and was heavily involved with the free dental clinic spending his evenings managing the clinic. After completing college, Dr. Kashou packed his bags and headed to Milwaukee Wisconsin, where he completed dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry. After finishing Marquette, he completed a 1-year General Practice Residency where he worked as the Chief Resident Dentist in Nashville Tennessee. When Dr. Kashou is not working, he enjoys being active and spending time with his family. He is excited to be a part of such an awesome practice and looks forward to treating patients as he would his own family.
Amanda settled in San Diego in 1990 having lived in Texas, Alabama and Colorado. She started working in the dental field in 1998 as a dental clerk before becoming a dental assistant and the office manager. Amanda then decided to become a Hygienist. In 2015 she graduated from Concorde Career College accelerated program with highest honors and also received Colgate State Total Achievement award for leadership. At home Amanda is a proud mom to two beautiful daughters and 3 dogs. Amandas love for the dental field and patients come across with her compassionate, gentle care she provides.
Aileen is a San Diego native that has been in the field of dentistry for 10 years. She has a 16 year old daughter that is in high school cheerleading. Aileen loves spending time with her daughter and family and takes every chance she can to travel.
Stephanie Bischel has been affiliated with this dental practice for 25 years and continues to offer compassionate care to patients in her role as office manager. She is a native San Diegan, raised in Clairemont. On your next visit, you may find her Bernese Mountain dog, Harris, lounging outside her office door. Stephanie cares as much about the patients as she does about her associates.
What I enjoy the most about my job is seeing all of our patients! I wouldnt be able to do what love, without them. Its easy to wear a smile to work every day when you really genuinely love what you do!

Dr Khalled Alwan Is very knowledgeable and caring. He has excellent advice, answer your questions thoroughly. They are mindful of your money. His staff, from other doctor, to dental cleaning and the front desk are excellent too. Even though they are far and the away from where I live, I chose them because of their quality service. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I've been going to this dental practice for years and have been nothing but impressed with the quality of care. Eina is very friendly and does a fantastic job every time I'm there. I look forward to seeing her each time. Dr. Alwan did a great job with the one filling I've needed and the staff make scheduling easy.

I had my first visit today and it was a very pleasant experience. Their entire staff was absolutely incredible and their office space was clean. The dentist was able to squeeze me in for a same day deep clean and I didn't feel a thing. Going to the dentist typically causes me a lot of anxiety, but I am happy to report that was not the case here. Highly recommend!

The staff is wonderful and Dr. Alwan is a gem! He listens to his patients needs and I love that. Also I usually get anxious and I always feel the needle for the anesthesia but I didn't feel a thing when he administered the shot!

Excellent care. I have high anxiety with dentists because I don't always numb with lidocaine. The dentists and assistants were very understanding, and helped me to feel comfortable. They actually listened to my concerns, made sure I was numb, and took time to make sure i could not feel any pain. The entire staff is friendly and show interest in making sure patients are well taken care of. I highly recommend CITIdental in El Cajon. Dr.Weller, (previous owner of this practice) was amazing, and she should feel proud to know her former patients were left in good hands!

Awesome!!! Perfect experience start to finish with this dental office, including the office manager Traci, and the Dentist Dr. Ayman Naser. I have had a root canal and an extraction, and both times I had zero pain during and after. Also the cost is more affordable than the dental plan my work offers! I recommend this dentist to everyone I talk to!

I have been going to Citidental longer than Dr Naser himself and am more please each passing year with the way this office continues to evolve around client needs. You're not just another dental patient here. You're family. From the phone, to the desk, to the chair, this office and it's staff are top notch. Nobody likes to go to the dentist and I try to keep my visits to twice a year. Every time I walk in that office I'm treated as if I'm there every day. Thank you Citidental!

I love this dentist's office! I was only able to go to them for a short amount of time because my insurance changed shortly after finding them, but they were amazing and given the choice I would have happily stayed with them. They make you feel very comfortable and the atmosphere is all-around warm. They are professional in what they do and without austerity.

Everyone in the office is incredibly kind and very friendly. They make you feel like you matter and are important to them. They schedule you according to your needs and I always have my calls returned the same day! I went in recently since my husband highly recommended Dr. Naser and I have a TMJ issue my regular dentist did not resolve. Dr.Naser was great, solved the TMJ bite issue quickly, professionally and with advanced techniques I have never seen elsewhere. He recommended a mouth guard and impressions were taken for a custom one to keep me from grinding my teeth at night, clenching and will let the TMJ muscle relax. I picked it up yesterday and was greated and treated with the same high quality of service? All in all, I feel well taken care of, listened to and very happy to be able to eat properly now!

I normally do not post reviews but Citidental deserves it. The dental hygienist did an amazing job on my teeth. I have a sensitive mouth and the hygienist was very gentle. No hard poking, probing, no hard cleaning. It was actually amazing. This was my 2nd visit and the first visit was amazing as well. I did not feel like the Dentist was looking to take advantage and look for problems that did not exist. I felt they were honest and fair. Great experience and for once I actually look forward to going back to the dentist!
