Dr. Peter Tsivitse graduated from the University of Toledo in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. He attended The Ohio State University toearnhis Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and completed a general dental residency at the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo.
Dr. Tsivitses dedication to excellence has continued throughout his 30 years of practice. He advances his ability to provide comprehensive and comfortable dental care by attending many continuing education courses. Dr. Tsivitse frequently attends the Cincinnati Dental Society and Dayton Dental Society continuing dental education series, as well as local and national dental conventions. Also, Dr. Tsivitse attends the annual Ohio Dental Association convention, further enhancing his dental education thru lectures,table clinics and dental equipment vendors.
For more than 30 years, Dr. Tsivitse has volunteered dental treatment through the OPTIONS program, which providesdental careto the less fortunate residents of Cincinnati. He annually contributes to the Delhi Skirt Game by providing toothbrushes and dental supplies to local charity foundations, and is a member of the Santa Maria Community Services Center, where he provides complimentary dental screenings to the residents of Price Hill. Most recently, Dr. Tsivitse has become a member of the Leave No Vet Behind program. This program provides dental to our retired military veterans.
For more than ten years, Dr. Tsivitse has deliveredan annual lecture on sports dentistry and concussion trauma to Mount St.Joseph University athletic training students. Over the years, Dr. Tsivitse has fabricated complimentary custom athletic mouthgaurds forMount St. Joseph and other local athletes.
Dr.Tsivitse and his wife, Nancy, have lived in Cincinnati since1984, and have enjoyed raising their two daughters in this great city. Dr. Tsivitse has been active in the swimming community for over 20 years. Both his daughters were competitive swimmers, so he has been involved for over 20 years with the YMCA, Wyoming High School, and Wyoming swim club as a swim official and Wyoming Middle School swim coach.
When hes not in the office, Dr. Tsivitse spends time, swimming and exercising at the YMCA, and biking on the Little Miami ScenicTrail. He also, he enjoys listening to music while having 'backyard barbecues' with family and friends.
