As a dental specialist, Dr. Dersley is one of Marylands top experts in helping patients with major dental problems. He has helped his patients overcome such problems as: embarrassment with their teeth, severe dental anxiety, social problems due to not being able to eat a meal comfortably, and chronic dental pain due to unhealthy teeth.
Dr. Dersley believes that when you can smile with confidence, chew comfortably and have a healthy mouth, life is better. His focus is to provide you with a plan that will ensure comfortable care, minimal pain, and a confident and healthy smile for a lifetime.
A lifelong Terp and Maryland native, Dr. Chris Wolf graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Physiology and Neurobiology, followed by completing his dental degree at the University of Maryland Dental School. After dental school, Dr. Wolf worked in private practice for several years in Anne Arundel County, where he received rave reviews and praise by patients for his gentle touch and caring personality. He has served on the Board of Admission for the University of Maryland Dental School and volunteers his time with the Special Olympics and Mission of Mercy Dental Clinics.
Dr. Gabriel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with a BS in biology and chemistry. He then stayed down in Richmond, VA and graduated dental school from Virginia Commonwealth University. Since then, Dr. Gabriel has been in private practice serving the Maryland and Washington, DC areas. He understands that everyone can be a little anxious at the dentist and does his best to make sure you are comfortable, confident, and relaxed.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Gabriel enjoys hiking with his dog Emme and cooking with his wife. During the summers, Dr. Gabriel loves to golf and tube or kayak the Gunpowder River in northern Maryland. Most recently Dr. Gabriel has joined the Annapolis Pickleball Club!
Dr. Murphy is a University of Maryland School of Dentistry graduate who recently completed a General Practice Residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. In residency, she received advanced training in the hospital and emergency settings and provided routine dental care to the underserved population. As a Southern Maryland native, she is excited to return to her home state and provide for her community.
Dr. Meraj completed a B.S. in Biology from Lafayette College and worked in research at Strong Memorial Hospital before getting her DDS at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1998. She completed her General Practice Residency (GPR) at Staten Island University Hospital before starting private practice in Manhattan. During this time she completed the NYU-Brookdale Hospital maxi course in dental implants and has been placing implants since 2004.
She relocated to Maryland in 2003 and has been a Calvert County resident for almost 20 years. She is dedicated to making every patient's dental experience gentle and effortless. She invests a lot of time into understanding a patients lifestyle in order to better address their needs. It is her love of implant and cosmetic dentistry that motivates her to evolve with new dental technology.
Suzanne received her BS degree in Dental Hygiene from the University Of Maryland Baltimore School Of Dentistry.She completed her undergraduate education at Baltimore City Community College, earning admission into Phi Theta Kappa Academic Honor Society. Additionally, Suzanne is a former Emergency Medical Technician, rescue technician, and volunteer firefighter, with additional training in course instruction.
For fourteen years Suzanne provided chairside dental services as a licensed dental assistant, developing a focus on patients with special needs, fixed restorative procedures, and surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia. During this time she served not only as a health care provider but as a practice manager, responsible for human resources, front and back office staff training and OSHA compliance.
As faculty of the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry, Suzanne provides clinical instruction to third and fourth year dental hygiene students, mentors student projects and course director in Periodontics for the Division of Dental Hygiene in the Department of Advanced Oral Sciences and Therapeutics. In addition, she serves on the Dental Hygiene Admissions Committee, the Student Progression Committee and Faculty Advisor to the Class of 2020.
Inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society in 2017, Suzanne is currently completing a Masters degree in Dental Hygiene and Community Health through Old Dominion University, anticipated graduation May 2020. Suzanne practices clinical dental hygiene in Maryland and the District of Columbia, provides private practice management consulting services and continuing education instruction.
As a member of ADHA (American Dental Hygiene Association), and the current Legislative Chair of the Maryland Dental Hygienists Association, Suzanne is passionate about moving the dental hygiene profession forward to enable qualified clinicians to practice to the full extent of their education, and create access to care for underserved populations.

I recently had a dental issue while visiting my son .He recommended I should see if I could get into his see his dentist, I never thought they would get me in at last notice.Not only did they squeeze me in but I was taken back by the beautiful and clean facility. And the friendly staff were so kind and professional. It made a trip to the dentist a nice experience.

What a great office! Dr. Murphy, Rachel, Ashley and the rest of the office were so warm and welcoming! They were a great combination of sweet and professional throughout my entire appointment. I'm glad I made the switch over to Churchton Dental Care; I will definitely recommend friends and family.

I cannot recommend this dentist enough! The waiting room is gorgeous, they have water bottles, coffee, and comfortable seating. The rooms are all clean, with sailing/boat themed decorations and tv's on the ceiling for patients to look at while they get their teeth cleaned. All of the employees are so friendly and thoughtful- making sure you're comfortable and asking if you need anything while they clean your teeth. The dental plans are affordable and totally worth it. If you have anxiety about going to the dentist, this place is for you!

First visit with Churchton Dental was great! The place was so comfortable and inviting and the staff was so friendly! I didn't feel pressured or uncertain at all like at previous dentists and the visit was very efficient and smooth!

Churchton Dental Care was exceptional!! I had a problem area I wanted to get looked at and booked an appointment to see Dr. Murphy the very next morning! I was a new patient too and have been to a lot of different offices- so I was VERY impressed with them. I established as a new patient and can't wait to go back :)

I decided to get an apt here after I started having some tooth pain and I got an apt very quickly! The ladies at the front desk are super nice while scheduling and checking out. Dr Wolf is very knowledgeable and has a great team here that cleaned my teeth perfectly!! Clean and updated office with a TV in the ceiling so you won't be bored! I would 100000% recommend Churchton Dental and am looking forward to getting my teeth back to looking great!

Top notch, best service of any provider I've been to. I get calls back at 6 am to get me in that day. Dr. Wolf is calling around on Thanksgiving morning to get me a prescription for my emergency that I emailed about the same morning. You want professional laid back easy going dentist. This is your spot!

My husband and boys had switched earlier this year and had very positive things to say about the staff and doctors here. Dr. Wolf and all the staff were very professional and cordial. I am grateful they were able to see me on short notice and will be returning very soon. My family highly recommends them.
