Dr. Ivan Chuah graduated in 1993 from the University of Alberta Dental School in Canada. He has been in general practice for 26 years. He practiced at the University of Alberta hospital for 5 years as an emergency dentist and has extensive dental surgical experience. He also worked in a private practice for 18 years.
Dr. Chuah is a certified medical acupuncturist accredited by the University of Alberta, member of the American Dental Association and a member of the International academy of Biologic Dentists and Medical Practitioners.
He has become a preferred provider for Invisalign on the Island of Kauai, and is listed at one of the top 10 doctors in Hawaii. In his free time he enjoys bike riding, yoga and watching his three children dance ballet. Check out his reviews on RateMD.com.
Mary is one of our fantastic Dental Hygienists.She obtained her Dental Hygiene degree in Asheville, NC and has been an avid student of continuing education. She recently received her Master's Degree in Health Science. Although she grew up in Massachussetts, she has been a Kauai girl for over 25 years. Mary is an avid sports fan who enjoys running, surfing and traveling.
Heather has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She has been a colleague of Dr. Chuah's for 9of those years. Heather's competence and caring touch will surely set you at ease. Heather enjoys gardening, spending time with her grandson and soaking in the sun at one of ourbeaches on the north shore.
SUSAN, RDH.Susan is our newest hygienist, but she is no newbie to the dental world! She has been practicing for over 30 years, and her experience shows. Susan is from Oahu and is a graduate of the University of Manoa. She has been a resident of Kauai for 15 years total, and Maui for 7. Susan enjoys being involved in her Church Ministries, golfing and traveling to new places.
