Dr. Richard Benjamin received his undergraduate and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Temple University School of Dentistry. He has been licensed and practicing in the Prospect Park area for over 46 years and still finds each day of dentistry enjoyable. He has furthered his passion for dentistry by taking hundreds of hours of continuing education throughout the country. He enjoys creating healthy beautiful smiles for his patients through a particular interest in crowns, bridges and implant prosthesis.One of our missions is torun our practice on time. Our patients time is as valuable as ours. Also, we believe in seeingemergencies as quickly as possible.
Dr. Christy Benjamin received her undergraduate degree from theUniversity of Pittsburgh in 2008 before completing her doctorate of dental medicine at Temple University School of Dentistry in 2012.She continues to increase her knowledge and skills to better serve her patients through continuing education courses. Dr. Benjamin performs all aspects of general dentistry and takes particular interest in comprehensive oral health care. She especially enjoys working with children and believes that positive first visits to the dentist create a lifetime dedication to oral health.
Business Administrator/Dental Hygienist Mary is a licensed registered dental hygienist who has been with our practice since 1979. She earned her business degree from Neumann Univerisity and her dental hygiene license from Harcum College. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the American Association of Dental Office Managers. Mary is a dedicated, caring professional who strives for continuous improvement by attending various dental seminars particularly related to disease prevention and oral health. She has a very relaxed, meticulous technique and a very caring attitude for her patients.
Dental Hygienist Helen started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant and from there to a business coordinator. She graduated from Montgomery County Community College with a degree in dental hygiene in 2016. Helen's ability, enthusiasm and professionalism show in her daily performances as a dental hygienist. She is committed to making your dental experience as pleasant as possible, focusing on prevention and patient education to obtain overall health. Helen is a wonderful asset to our practice and our patients.
Dental Assistant Robert has been a Dental Assistant for over 20 years. He has been a part of our practice for the last 11 years. He is well trained in all aspects of dentistry. Patients find Robert to be personable and easy to relate to. Robert is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable in the dental setting.
Receptionist June brings 11 years experience in the pharmacutical field serving as a receptionist and insurance pharmacy clerk. She is a graduate of Temple University, with an outstanding work ethic and a great smile. June is a multitasker, with excellent telephone and computer skills. She enjoys greeting and helping our patients feel comfortable by anticipating anxieties, answering questions and maintaining order.
Dental Insurance Coordinator Deirdre has worked for over 20 years in the dental field gaining expertise in dealing with insurance companies. She very much enjoys the interaction she has with our patients, getting to know them, often on a first name basis. As there are so many different insurance plans, Deirdre has the skills to help our patients gain the most value from their policies, along with helping them better understand the particular plan they may have.

I've been going to Dr Benjamin since he opened the office and now his daughter is there as well. Have never had a problem. Great care and great staff. I always recommend them to others!

The office staff were professional and friendly on the surface and Dr Benjamin and his assistant were very nice on the surface. Was looking for a new dentist and I'll have to continue my search.

I've been going to Dr. Richard Benjamin's office for a few years now. Was a bit nervous when I heard Dr was going to retire. Dr. Christy Benjamin is above and beyond. She's an amazing dentist and all of the staff are so friendly. Highly recommended if looking for a dentist!!

As a patient of Richard N. Benjamin DDS I am always amazed at his skill level how quickly he solves any problem from minor to complex and his ever present pleasantness. He is quite a find. I hold him in such high regard that I have entrusted my 91 year old mother to his care. She is by no means easily pleased but she too enjoys being cared for by Dr. Benjamin. The entire family and practice are friendly and courteous.

Dr. Christy Benjamin, Mary the hygienist, Robert, June, Deirdre, and everyone at the office are SUPER KIND, SWEET, GENTLE, COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, and PROFESSIONAL! I've been coming here for the past 2 years and have never been disappointed. They are a phenomenal team of dental experts and I can't say enough good things about them! I have always had a fear of going to the dentist since I was a kid but these professionals assuaged my fears and kept me in the loop every step of the way! They are ALL amazing and provide one-of-a-kind dental care!!! I highly recommend them for all of your dental needs!
