To share a little about myself: I began my studies locally, graduating from Fresno State with a degree in Psychology. This has proved invaluable in both helping to create the most comfortable environment possible as well as guiding our patients through their experience. After this I earned a Masters degree in Human Physiology from Loma Linda University, where I begin doing research in the dental field. I moved up to San Francisco to study at UCSF, one of the top dental schools in the country. I was fortunate to serve as the school Vice-President and then President, receiving several awards including a commendation from the Governor of California as well as the esteemed Pierre Fauchard award for 2004. During my time at UCSF I created the undergraduate endodontics certificate program. After completing dental school I began my specialty training, and was accepted into the University of Washington, Seattle for the Masters degree in Endodontics.
I am one of the only root canal specialists in the Valley that is certified to offer adult conscious sedation for your comfort. The office was granted Oral Conscious Sedation certificate by the California State Board. I have completed the IV sedation program from the University of Southern California, and a member of the DOCS Sedation Education Institute.
As an Endodontic Specialist, I have advanced training in root canal treatment, microsurgery and other related procedures geared to save your natural teeth. My workup includes specialized techniques in diagnosing the potential causes of head and neck pain. I am a member of the American Association of Endodontic Specialists, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fresno Madera Dental Society, and California Dental Society.
Lastly I am highly trained in surgical implant placement for teeth that are not savable, or at least provide information on the treatment options for your situation. In the area of implant dentistry, I received education and training at the Misch International Implant Institute, Ickert Dental Implant Teaching Centre, and the Pikos Surgical Institute. I am both a Member and Fellow of the Internation Congress of Implantologists.

Dr. Sabourin's office was clean and pleasant. His staff were super friendly and efficient. I was there for a consultation. The doctor was very kind, thorough, and I did not feel rushed. He answered all my questions to the point where I felt comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Sabourin for your root canal or oral surgery needs.

I've never had such a pleasant dental experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind. The hygienist who worked with me was perfectly communicative, always walking me through exactly what she was doing. The front office staff were helpful, organized, and happy to be there. Dr.Sabourin himself was just wonderful. Going here *almost* made me want a root canal.

I had a great experience. Very welcoming as soon as I walked in. The front staff was wonderful. Answered all of my questions. Dr. Was very helpful and didn't waste my time, and didn't take my money like the last specialist did. He was upfront and honest on what he could and couldn't do.

I am new to Dr. Sabourin' practice Referred by my regular Fresno dentist for a specialty examination of a couple of back molars for nerve root testing of those teeth. I was referred here by my dentist for a root canal retreatment evaluation . I was scared and very nervous upon arriving not knowing what to expect being my first time for this procedure, seeing the machinery, equipment, and the micro tools was very intimidating. The staff greeted me and it was almost like if they read my mind, they made me feel comfortable right away. The staff went over the procedures step by step and they made sure I was comfortable the whole entire procedure by checking on how I was feeling and keeping me in the loop with their friendly conversations. Before I knew it I was almost near completion with the gentle wave treatment and was sent home with antibiotics and pain relief medication. The doctor even escorted me out into the lobby asking how my experience was. The doctor was also very calm and friendly and reminded me that I'm the one in control before the procedure took place. It was a overall great experience. I definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely the best dental experience I've ever had! I felt like royalty while being treated here at this office not only by the doctor himself, but by all the staff. I was given a cozy blanket, a stress ball to calm the nerves, and an ipod to listen to music of my choice during my procedure. This team is top notch

Upon arrival I found the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. After filling the medical information form I waiting in the waiting room observing the informational video of the lasted in root canal procedures. Nothing like it was when I had my first one years ago. The facility has state of the art equipment and I like the placement of the x-ray monitor directly overhead to the side of the patients chair so the patient and the doctor can observe the details of the affected tooth. Doctor Sabourin went over the results of the x-ray and how to proceed. The doctor was very thorough with the options. I am very impressed with my visit experience and how well and organized everyone is at this office. Five stars indeed.
