Dr. Brittany McCarthy grew up in Bexley and graduated from the Columbus School for Girls. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Duke University, with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. McCarthy has been active in providing dental care to underserved and at-risk communities, volunteering her services to the Give Kids a Smile program and the Ohio State department of Pediatric Dentistry mobile dental H.O.M.E. facility.
Dr. Masoner has been practicing for 40 plus years and has taught part-time at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. As a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Masoner is very passionate about education. We are very excited to announce the addition of Dr. Kate H. Mudd to our practice! Dr. Kate is a native of Bardstown, KY. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky and then continued for another 4 years at the University to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Kate has been an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society & American Association of Women Dentists. She loves volunteering and has spent a lot of time providing dental care to underserved children and adults. She is an avid reader, loves experimenting in the kitchen, watching soccer and seeing new movies.

She graduated Cum Laude from Boston University with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine. While at Boston University she received awards for excellence in treatment planning and patient care, as well as the award for excellence in the field of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. McCarthy has been active in providing dental care to underserved and at-risk communities, volunteering her services to the Give Kids a Smile program and the Ohio State department of Pediatric Dentistry mobile dental H.O.M.E. facility. She also provides care for the underserved in our community through the Ohio Dental Associations Dental Options program and volunteering in the dental clinic at the Ohio Department of Health. During dental school, she spent three months providing dental care to a rural community in New Hampshire. Dr. McCarthy has also been involved in the legislative aspects of the profession serving on the American Dental Associations Political Action Committee (ADPAC) Board of Directors where she advocated for dental care for children and the underserved.
Following graduation from dental school Dr. McCarthy practiced in Cleveland and a suburb of Washington, DC before returning to Columbus to found McCarthy Dental Group. She is currently licensed in Ohio and an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Society. She was a liaison to the ODPAC Board of the Ohio Dental Association and was elected to serve 4 years as the ADPAC Representative for Ohio and Indiana. She has been a member of (and Chair of) the Leadership Development Committee of the Ohio Dental Association. She is currently a member of the Finance Committee of the Ohio Dental Association. She is a delegate to the Ohio Dental Association and has served as a delegate to the American Dental Association. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Columbus Dental Society. She has been a member of the Spear Study Club & the Northeast Columbus Study Club. She attended a week-long Continuing Education course at the Pankey Institute, the premier center for learning and advancement in the dental profession and has attended multiple courses at the prestigous Spear Intstitute.
In 2013 Dr. McCarthy was honored to receive the Ohio Dental Associations Rising Star Award & to be inducted as a Fellow in the International College of Dentists. She was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Dentists in 2019. In 2015 (and every year since) Dr. McCarthy has been voted a topDentist by her peers.
Dr. McCarthy has been a member of the Junior Leagues of Cleveland, Washington DC and Columbus. She enjoys volunteering, cooking, being outdoors, cycling and spending time with her husband Michael and their two children.

Dr. Masoner takes over fifty hours yearly of continuing education to keep current on all new dental techniques, drug interactions, and dental materials. Through the Seattle Study Club annual meeting, in February of 2018, Dr. Masoner listened to forty-three speakers over the course of six days. These international speakers addressed periodontal, prosthetic, pediatric, and surgical dental topics. Other topics addressed were full mouth rehabilitation, implantology, aging, and drug interactions in todays diverse population.
Outside of work, Dr. Masoner enjoys spending time with his wife, Leslie, their three children and six grandchildren. An ideal weekend includes golf, fishing, Western art, and reading Steinbeck between family time. Dr. Masoner is a dentist known for his compassionate care and looks forward to welcoming you to his office!

She loves volunteering and has spent a lot of time providing dental care to underserved children and adults. She is an avid reader, loves experimenting in the kitchen, watching soccer and seeing new movies.
