The practice of Dr. Christopher J. Dirig DDS PA provides quality dentistry for patients of all ages. We offer a wide range of dental services, including preventive, cosmetic, restorative and reconstructive dentistry. We pride ourselves on our patient-centered practice. We do everything possible to make every dental visit pleasant and positive experiences for our patients. Our office is dedicated to providing high quality dental care in our state-of-the-art dental office. We utilize the most advanced materials and techniques in the dental field today. We offer a patient oriented environment that includes comfort, trust and education.
Dr. Dirig has been in practice in the Statesville and Charlotte area since 1997. He is a valued member of the Iredell County Dental Society and the Foothills Dental Continuum. Dr. Dirig graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1996 with distinguished honors in the restorative clinical department and in Xi Psi Phi academic dental fraternity. He also received advanced studies in endodontic (root canals), light parenatal conscious sedation and implantology. Dr. Dirig then attended an advanced General Practice residency in 1997 at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. While there, Dr. Dirig graduated from his residency with concentrations in Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontic & Oral Surgery and completed many dental procedures in the operating room with traumatic injuries.
Originally from Indianapolis, IN, Amy has lived in Iredell County since 1996. Amy has worked in the dental field since 1998. In her current position as Office Manager, Patient Advocate, and Insurance Coordinator, Amy verifies benefits and helps patients understand how their benefits work while fully maximizing to decrease their out of pocket expenses. Her goal is to incorporate the wealth of dental knowledge and customer service to best serve patients and their families.
Michelle is a 2006 honor graduate from the Wilkes Community College Dental Assisting Program, where she was presented the Outstanding Dental Assisting Award. Michelle is a CDAII, certified through the North Carolina Dental Assisting National Board.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry along with her passion for assisting with pediatric patients and working in the lab. Michelle feels that the most rewarding part of her job is helping patients have a healthy and confident smile.
Erica grew up in Wilkesboro, NC and is a 2008 honors graduate from Wilkes Community College with a degree in Dental Assisting. She was also awarded with a first-place accreditation in the 2008 Wilkes Community College Dental Assisting Table Clinics. Erica is a CDA II, certified through the North Carolina Dental Assisting National Board.
Ericas favorite part of her job is getting to know patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair. To her there is nothing more gratifying than helping patients overcome their dental fears.
Olivia graduated from dental hygiene school from Forsyth Tech in May 2012. She has been with Dr. Dirig since July 2012. Olivia has a passion for making her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. Olivia is from North Wilkesboro, NC and still resides there with her husband, daughter and son. During her free time, she loves spending time with family, going to the beach and decorating.

I meet Dr dirig when he 1st opened his practice over behind Lowry drugs he is the best and most professional dentist I have ever used. I only quit going to him cause I had other problems now that I have got my life back together I will start using him again. When he did my root canal life 15 years ago he never once hurt me I can't wait to start using his services again.

I fell in love with this office over 5 years ago. But Dr. Dirig just took it to another level. Yesterday I had two fully grown wisdom teeth removed. They were the largest and most sucked looking human teeth I have ever seen. He popped both those suckers out in under an hour and I was back to my normal routine almost instantly. Hardly any pain, 12 hours between standard dosing of ibuprofen and it still didn't hurt.

Dr. Dirig and his staff are above and beyond any other dentist office I have experienced. Dr. Dirig is professional but also down to earth and relatable. You feel like you're visiting friends when you have an appointment in his office. I drive from East Mooresville to his Statesville office to see him because we feel so cared for and a part of his extended family. There's no way I would go anywhere else!
