Christopher F. Heck, DMD is a second-generation dentist from Fairborn, OH, and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. Both his parents are in the dental field; his father is a practicing dentist and mother is a practicing hygienist. Both are graduates of The Ohio State University. At Temple, Dental Dr. Heck gained a solid clinical foundation working on the nations largest dental school patient population with a focus on the complex dental needs of the underserved and underinsured in North Philadelphia.
After graduation, Dr. Heck returned to Ohio, receiving a certificate from the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at University Hospital in Cincinnati. He provided high-quality, comprehensive general dental care to healthy and medically compromised patients, while receiving advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry. He has since completed advanced training and continuing education programs in implant placement surgery and restoration, IV and oral conscious sedation, root canal therapy, clear braces, and cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Heck is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive and comfortable dental care to his patients.
Dr. Heck served in dental school as Class President, followed by terms as Vice President and President of the student body. Currently, Dr. Heck is an active member of the Ohio Dental Association (ODA), Cincinnati Dental Society (CDS) and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He has served as a council member, Treasurer, Vice President and President for the Cincinnati Dental Society. Dr. Heck is also a delegate to the ODA and is member of the ODA Subcouncil on New Dentists and ODA Council on Access to Care and Public Service.
In 2014 Dr. Heck was awarded the prestigious N. Wayne Hiatt Rising Star Award by the ODA. This award is given to a recognized young dentist with outstanding leadership, initiative and a strong commitment to volunteerism within the community and the profession. Dr. Heck is committed to serving his community and the under-served as a provider for both the Dental Options program and Leave No Vet Behind.
Dr. Heck received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Miami University in Oxford, OH. His lovely wife Danielle handles all business aspects at the office and they have two children, Nora and Andersen.
