This revolutionary tool can alert Dr. Cooley or Dr. Flexsenhar to problems often months before the symptoms of oral cancer would otherwise be apparent. We also perform salivation DNA tests, which provide information about conditions like gum disease as well as overall health conditions. Periodontal care is an essential part of our dental practice.
However, even with a comfortably furnished office, Dr. Cooley and Dr. Flexsenhar understand that some patients experience dental anxiety. To help mitigate these feelings of anxiety, we provide sedation dentistry options. We provide both oral sedation and nitrous oxide. Our team can help you determine which type is best for your needs.
In addition to sedation offerings, we stay abreast of leading dental techniques and equipment that make your dental visit more efficient, effective, and comfortable. At your routine biannual exams, he will perform an oral cancer screening using the advanced OralID.

Lifestyle/Hobbies: Dr. Powell thinks that his lifestyle and hobbies would be a bore to most. With a smile he admits to having a weird affinity for mowing the lawn, and says he loves the look of a well-manicured lawn. Perhaps it is because Dr. Powell spent most of his childhood in places that just dont have the lush greenery of Tennessee. His wife is his best friend, which he says he loves to hang out with her so much that she has to be annoyed by him at times. They are likely to be working out together, or just relaxing while enjoying a movie. The Powells are very excited to be welcoming a new addition to their family coming in the month of March 2022, and the preparation and anticipation of all of this has been quite fun, which by the way, Its a boy.
We are excited to offer the use of lasers for dental procedures at our office. Our team has had extensive training in the use of our dental laser. This allows us to perform laser techniques including soft tissue recontouring (eliminating/reducing a gummy smile) and Painless Tooth Extractions aided by the laser. Additionally, we can now offer certain types of periodontal (gum) treatments that help reduce gum disease!
This technology gives Dr. Cooley and Dr. Flexsenhar a comprehensive view of your smile. Using our PlanMeca Promax digital radiography, we are able to create detailed treatment plans according to your unique smile. This amazing technology is also more comfortable for the patient as they are taken outside of the mouth. We usually recommend digital X-rays once or twice a year, with panoramic X-rays every three years or when necessary.

Ive been going here for 3 years, my dentist retired, his partner took over. Then she left in September. I wasn't notified by anyone until half way through my cleaning. Then I was price gauged about every service they offered. These are services that were once covered by my plan. Apparently they charging separately for everything now.

Brandon and Kiki were very good. They were very down to earth and I felt at home. Brandon (Dr Powell) explained everything thoroughly and kept me involved with exactly what he was seeing and thinking as well as the plan to alleviate my issue. Very impressed with this place. Good people.

Coming from someone that would rather let there teeth fall out then to even carry on a conversation with a DDS. I LOVE DR. FLEX!!! At Dr. Cooley & Flex they are truly concerned about your well-being and Comfort, first and foremost. And only then do they Take the necessary steps to address your dentistry needs. You walk out of there NEVER feeling in the slightest that you just walked out of a dentist office after just having major dental work done. You literally just go on about your day... IN NO PAIN. And it doesn't come back! They are definitely a God send for someone like me. (High anxiety). They are the most talented, professional individuals in their field. I just cannot say enough about Dr. Cooley and Flex. So if You find yourself in need of a fantastic dental team this is definitely the place that you want to be.
