Dr. Carlone received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1983. Before pursuing dentistry, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry at SUNY Buffalo. He is part of the American Dental Association and the Greater Danbury Dental Society.
Dr. Carlone is known for his attention to detail and caring personal touch. He loves proving that dentistry can be fun and painless, and has converted many a reformed phobic! His experience speaks for itself!
Dr. Carlone is involved in many community and international oral health initiatives, and recently traveled to Puerto Rico as an adjuct UConn professor to implement free dental care for hurricane and earthquake impacted communities.
Dr. Mia Carlone received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She also completed her undergraduate studies at UConn in Biology and French, before graduating cum laude. She is part of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Mia did her general practice residency training at New York Presbyterian, where she specialized in dental emergencies, managing medically complex patients, pre/post radiation-oncology care, and inpatient dentistry.
Dr. Mia loves to remain at the forefront of dental technology, and is passionate about digital dentistry. She is currently spearheading modernization efforts, and hopes to introduce elements such as CAD/CAM and one-visit crown and bridge procedures to the office in the near future!
