Since 1992 Dr. Christine Tenaglia has been helping patients achieve the smile theyve always wanted. She and her capable staff work one-on-one with patients, providing them with the full amount of time and effort they deserve. Dr. Tenaglia constantly reeducates herself in the latest dental technology, advanced treatments, and comforts of modern dentistry. Dr. Tenaglia chaired the Michigan Associations Annual Meeting in 2006 when the organization commemorated its 150th anniversary. She has also been awarded the Don Bunka Outstanding Service Award and the Meridian Area Business Associations Most Improved Business. Most significantly, she was awarded the Peoples Choice Award as the areas favorite dentist by the Okemos Community Newspapers.
Dr. Tenaglia graduated from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry in 1992. She has studied at the acclaimed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, The Pankey Institute in Miami, Florida, Dawson Center in Tampa, Florida, and Louisiana State University. Since establishing her general dentistry practice in Okemos in 1997, she has focused on cosmetic dentistry including orthodontics, Invisalign, implants, sleep apnea devices, and TMJ treatments.

Jennifer is a skilled dental hygienist with over 15 years of advanced clinical training in Periodontal disease. Previously working closely with a Periodontist to provide exceptional care to her patients. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and helping our patients improve their periodontal(gum) health.
Jennifer is a proud wife and mother of 2 wonderful kids. When Jennifer is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and gardening. She also provides our office with fresh eggs from her chickens!
You may recognize Salenas smiling face and positive hard-working attitude. She has been part of our dental team for over a year, working as doctors dental assistant while attending school. She also has 8 years of patient experience as a certified nursing assistant. She stands out amongst the millennials!
You may recognize Erins smiling face and cool calm demeanor as general manager for Buddies Pub and Grill in Okemos for the past 15 years. Erin enjoys helping people and providing them a friendly smiling face. She decided it was time to get back into the dental field after having served in an endodontic dental office for several years many years ago. She claims it is just like riding a bike!
When she is not working hard making your visit comfortable and relaxing while receiving dental treatment, she enjoys spending time with her family camping. She is a mother of 3! She is a strong believer in health and fitness and likes golfing, playing softball and volleyball.
We welcome Brandi as the happy voice you hear when you call our office! She comes to us with over 20 years of medical and dental office training. She is lightning fast on the computer! She coordinates our daily schedule and has a talent for working with you to understand your dental benefits.

As soon as I walked in I knew this was a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful and Dr. Tenaglia is very professional and does a wonderful job explaining everything. I look forward to being a patient of this office for a long time to come. Dr. Tenaglia is very flexible on scheduling and is willing to go the extra mile for someone like myself that has such a busy work schedule and has limited time off.I'm so glad I found them.

I do not recommend Dr. Tenaglia, and in fact, I advise you to stay away. I know from firsthand personal experience that she once offered incentives or highly pushed patients to write google reviews, so take that into consideration with every review you read. Her office does not accept Delta Dental insurance and her office is also double or more the cost of others in the area. Regarding my own and my associates experiences, we never once left a routine check-up without her recommending an additional procedure or service and pushing it hard. Upon walking into the plush but stale waiting room, looking at the fancy glass office across from the receptionist, etc... remember that your hard earned money goes toward paying for that 'glitz and glam'. Its up to each individual patient to decide whether or not they want to pay an upcharge for something that has no impact on the quality of the service performed. Additionally, I have been to 3 different dentists since being a patient of Dr. Tenaglia's for assessments, and all 3 confirmed that 4/6 cavities she filled were unnecessary and done sloppily, which will eventually require crowns. She also is quite rude and has poor communication skills. I cannot at all recommend Christine Tenaglia as a person or dentist, especially when there are plenty of good, honest dentists in the area.

I like this place. The office is beautiful, staff are nice and professional. The only thing I would like to suggest is, if you care about what the out-of-pocket amount will be, be sure to ask send a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance before make any appointment. They may mentioned but I didn't pay attention, they are independent dentist.

Dr. Tenaglia is seriously the most kind and patient dentist I have ever met. She goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. He staff is incredibly sweet and compassionate. She helped me with my TMD and I could not be more grateful.

Went here and got no services. They don't offer payment plans and want all of their money up front. She could not even show any BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES BUT WANTS TO ASK FOR $5,000 in cash for a implant! Not only that but they charged me $75 for literally NOTHING. They tell you that your insurance company will reimburse you but THAT IS A LIE. I will be calling my bank and getting my money back!! I GO TO DR HERRERA RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER AND HE IS AMAZING! To hell with Christine! The office is cute yet THAT MEANS NOTHING. Waste of time!! Waste of money'!! DONT GO HERE. Don't listen to the "good" reviews!

I had high hopes due to the numerous good ratings, unfortunately this felt more like a visit to a car salesman than a dentist. At all other dental offices that I have been to they will let you know ahead of time if something won't be covered by your insurance. For this place, they charge you and then bill your insurance (it sounded shady but- 4.9 rating right?). While there I was told that since it had been a few years my x-rays should be covered- but they were not. Over a month and half and I haven't gotten the reimbursement, and when I called to check up on when I would receive the reimbursement, I found out I would only be receiving 25% of what I paid- I lost 300$ for trusting this clinic. Before realizing all of this, I had inquired about a bite splint, which would be 300$ (if you had already had one made in the last five years) they tried to sell me a different type of mouth guard for several thousand dollars, and said that there wasn't a cheaper option there. Further down I read that it took months to get their reimbursement- they got 80% back, which ended up being better than my situation. Being down that much money in normal times is stressful, but during COVID it's even worse. *Edit- a letter

Beautiful surroundings, excellent dental service. Dr. Tenaglia replaced an "older" crown in near record time at the end of the work day. The lower right side of my jaw feels strong again. Kudos to you and your staff! Jan Thomas
