Dr. Mercurio is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, she is a published author, a distinguished member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and members of the New York Society of Dentistry for Children, Nassau County Dental Society and American Dental Society; She is CPR certified and compliant with Infection Control Practices, OSHA and HIPAA regulations. She has a strong commitment to community outreach and has done clinical and educational outreach locally and in New York City. Her goal is that all of her patients have a positive, fun and stress-free experience during each dental visit. Always seeking to broaden her knowledge in the dental field and foster shared learning of her specialty, she regularly attends dental study clubs and dental society events.
Patty received her Registered Dental Hygienist degree from SUNY Farmingdale in 1985 and has been working alongside Dr. Mercurio since 2007. Patty enjoys getting to know her patients personally. She is very sensitive toward each childs individual needs and takes the extra time that is needed to make each child feel special. She is also our office OSHA Coordinator.

The entire staff makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. Everything was on time and it was an extremely professionally run office. My daughter has anxiety about going to the Dentist and other health issues and they have been nothing but caring and patient with her. We are blessed to have a dentist office that truly cares about their kids

The office and staff were very friendly and kind. While there, I felt very safe and in good hands of professionals. My teeth cleaning was smooth and I was out in no time. It was quick and I am so happy with the results of my visit!!!!

Super welcoming office. Great for young kids - no fear of the dentist! The dentist and hygienists explain everything as they are doing it during the appointments, so the kids know that there is nothing to be afraid of. I have been coming here for years and wouldn't consider anywhere else.
