My team and I are excited to announce the addition of Wellington Eng, DDS to our dental practice. Dr. Eng brings over 30 years of experience and a solid knowledge of high quality dentistry, along with a keen interest and mastery of new dental technologies which will expand our scope of services for you. He came highly recommended by Doctors Komatsu and Hayashi, the fine endodontist and periodontist working next door, whom many of you know.

Dr. Eng received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and then attended dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He proudly served on the faculty at UOP for 6 years prior to moving to Southern California. His father, uncle and great grandfather were all California dentists, and he carries on this fine family tradition. He has 2 daughters, one in high school and one in college, and he looks forward to moving to the South Bay and enjoying outdoor activities with his lovely wife.

I went in for my cleaning. They took some X-rays found a filling that needed to be replaced and I walked out of the office later with the new filling done with little discomfort and no pain. Really great office. All the employees are well trained and make you comfortable.

I am a HUGE fan of vegan pho, especially pho made with good, rich veggie broth. That said, Pho really hit the spot with their pho chay, which is available with vegan broth (hooray!) or chicken broth (not for me). The dish comes with tofu, mushrooms, and flat rice noodles. I'm the one vegan who absolutely hates mushrooms so I always exclude them and Pho was happy to give me additional tofu as a substitute (they did this at both locations I visited this week). The tofu that comes in the dish is very interesting, more porous than tofu I'm used to and it appeared to have been fried, but I really loved it. Overall, this was a solid place to get a good, reasonably priced meal. I'll be back!
