Had to have a root canal redone from a bad experience else where. They were absolutely amazing and friendly here helping my anxiety through the whole thing. The only reason I took away a star is because my medication wasn't called in both times and they never called me back my last time when I was concerned. But overall great experience.

Definitely recommend Diablo View Endodontics! The team was amazing & made me feel very welcomed & comfortable. I showed up early and they also got me out early so that always is a plus!

My root canal was done on 8/25/22 by Dr. Christina Penn. Like most people, I was pretty nervous about getting the surgery done since the stigma around root canals is pain. Even after looking up a lot of stuff about root canals and being reassured it's not as bad as people think, I was still nervous. When I got there, the receptionist was very welcoming and Penn's assistant/technician was also very kind while getting my x-rays done. When it came time for the surgery, Penn reassured me it wouldn't hurt and told me exactly what they'd be doing. They first used a q-tip to numb my gums around the tooth. After about ten minutes, Penn then gave me 3 shots in my gums and roof of my mouth to further numb the entire area. I know some people are afraid of shots, but with the first numbing agent, the shots felt like a light pressure was being applied to the area, not a needle. After another 10-15 minutes, my entire right half of my mouth was numb for the entire surgery, in which I didn't feel any pain. During the surgery, you'll hear drills and other tools Penn uses and you'll likely feel some type of vibration at the tooth, but I can reassure you the area is so numb, you mainly feel stuff because your mind tells you you should. For me, I just relaxed with my eyes shut, breathing through my nose, and letting Penn work. The most painful part of the entire visit was when it was over and my jaw was sore from staying open for so long. The entire visit lasted about 2.5-3 hours, which is a long time but you sacrifice time for quality and customer service. I'm writing this review exactly 24 hours post-op and my tooth feels perfectly fine with no soreness anywhere near it. I highly recommend Penn and this facility if you need a root canal done.

Ironically, I had the BEST root canal experience here. It blew my mind. The staff was personable & professional, & the endodentist was awesome. She was confident, knowledgable, & efficient. I was nervous about the whole procedure, but she numbed me up so good, that I didn't feel anything & was so relieved. I'm going to take my kids to her husband for their braces & keep supporting this family - all because of the great experience that I had.

Everyone was so nice and caring. I was able to get in the same day and have my work completed. Dr. Penn was great. She took the time to explain everything and made sure I felt nothing. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Penn did a great job giving me a root canal. She explained what she was doing and answered my technical questions. The operation involved very little discomfort. The anesthetic was well placed and wore off quickly afterwards. Their follow-up calls and exam were good also. Perhaps my best dental experience.

The office staff was awesome! They were very nice and professional and when I asked them to put me on a cancellation list I was happily surprised when they called me back and said they had a cancelation. The dentist and her assistant were very good. Nothing hurt and the dentist made sure that I was comfortable at all times. You could tell with the precision of her hands and the way she worked she was a good dentist. The entire staff is very friendly and always makes sure the patients are taken care of by way of appointments, follow-up care, and help with billing. I would definitely recommend Dr. Penn and go back for any other dental work needed.

I have such bad anxiety around dentistry, but Dr. Penn and her assistants were so kind and literally held my hand through the process. They were so gentle and made us very painless. I highly recommend!

I needed a root canal and they got me in immediately! I've never had one before. They were kind and very professional. I absolutely felt no pain whatsoever. The next day they called to check on me to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. I'm terrified of going to the dentist for any reason at all but they made my experience (even at my age) where I would be happy to go back. Thank you to the entire staff!

This place was great taking care of my abscess and root canal. Not something fun to go through, but they were great and made things easier for me. The care they showed me and getting in right away was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend them for your dental needs.

Had to go in for an emergency root canal after a referral from my primary dentist. It was helpful that they could fit me in such short notice. Dr. Penn and her staff were very pleasant and comforting since it was my first root canal. She was very patience during the diagnostic procedure and throughout the root canal process. The procedure went smoothly and without much discomfort. She took excellent care of me and walk me thru the process and it was very reassuring.

Dr. Penn and her staff are extremely professional and caring. Dr. Penn made me feel comfortable, as I have high anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I have had 2 root canals by her and both experiences have been as pleasant as can be. I am very fortunate that my primary dentist referred me to her office.

Dr. Penn and her staff are wonderful and caring! They have gone out of their way numerous times to schedule me in right away and help with the tooth pain I was having. Dr. Penn is always very kind and making sure you are comfortable at all times. She does everything she can to make sure when you leave you are going to be ok. The staff, well I wish I can name them all personally, because I honestly feel like they are my friends every time I walk in for a treatment. Donna is awesome with billing and other scheduling needs. I have have 5 root canals so I think I honestly and confidently give them 5 stars or even more if I could for the wonderful service this whole team provides! I will always highly recommend Diablo View Endodontics!!! A++++

Needed an emergency root canal and Dr. Penn came to the rescue. Beautiful office, plenty of parking, the staff is helpful and professional. Best of all, the procedure went smoothly and without complication. Felt relaxed and confident during the work. Afterward the tooth healed up just fine. Would not hesitate to book another visit and of course, we all hope that doesn't happen ha ha
