We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, its both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies recommendations.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for being our patient. Dr. Marszalek is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and Eastern Indiana Dental Society. Dr. Laura enjoys treating a variety of patients with different needs. She has attended numerous continuing education courses and places mini-implants to help stabilize lower dentures. Dr. Laura is an active member of the community and is involved with numerous local groups such as 4-H and Cub Scouts. Dr. Laura and her husband, Joshua, have a son, Levi, and a daughter, Kathryn.

I had a complicated cavity ,and Dr Christie told me he would do everything he could to fill it and not pull my tooth,and he did ,thanks for that ,my wife and I will always be your patients

I got 46 units of botox I only wanted my 11s and Mt center forehead lines and around my eyes. You can still see the lines on my forehead the 3 I wanted removed no they're not deep. You can also see my 11s clear. If this was my first botox experience I probably wouldn't know better. It did make changes; just not where I wanted them to. It's possibly been 3 weeks way over then 10 days.

My self and my children started seeing this office in April of 2021. I made the appointment in February and called my kids previous dental office to have the records sent via email as requested by this office. The records were sent. When my children went to their appointment everything was done (x-rays included). I later received a bill and when I called my insurance I found out the kids did not need x-rays as they were not due. To make matters worse we were charged full price and when I tried to explain to Christie Dental that we don't pay full price per our insurance company, the billing person argued with me. I then had to have my insurance company call her and explain this to her. Only then was I billed the correct amount. Even after realizing that the amount was wrong I still was treated poorly by the billing person. This is why I have chosen to find another office to see. Just an fyi the new office was able to look at our insurance records and knew exactly what we needed done at our appointments! Terrible customer service and I wonder how many patients have been billed more than they should have been!

I called this morning to make an appointment with Christy Family Dentistry however, because I have not been there in a couple of years I would be considered a new patient and they are not accepting new patients. So after taking my 5 kids and myself there for over 30 years I was denied an appointment. This practice obviously does not believe in loyalty. Very very poor business practices. Very disappointed in a business that I helped build.

I've been going here since I was 12 or 13 for my braces. Had to have my braces for 5 years. Then when I got them off my senior year, I told them I had a back molar that kept shocking me with anything cold, sweet, or even when I brush. They supposedly did X-rays to see if I had a cavity and never saw anything. So I brought it up the NEXT visit. They continued to say there was nothing there. Not I have a black spot on my tooth and can't brush my teeth without eating to throw my toothbrush.

This place has been an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with for myself and for orthodontic care for our son. They rarely answer the phone and when they do, it's typically an unhelpful conversation. The office manager there might be the most rude woman I have ever encountered in customer service, as well. It also seems as though they are more concerned with recieveing payment than providing quality dental care. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone for anything. However, the female provider in this practice is very kind and good at what she does.

Went in to have a failed root canal extracted. Dentist wanted to extract teeth next to it, and fit me with a partial plate. Nothing wrong with other teeth, so I refused. He argued with me over it, but finally agreed to just the one. Then when he popped it loose, he dropped it straight down my throat! Had bone fragments working their painful way out of my gum for months after. Terrible service, and very unprofessional in arguing over my wishes on care.
