I'm ONLY giving 5 stars because apparently most of the reviews are for the EMERGENCY room NOT the Dental Clinic!! Maybe if people learned to actually PAY ATTENTION things wouldn't be as bad!! I've never been treated unfairly at the DENTAL clinic. Yes you may wait for a bit but they get you in!!

Receptionist at ER, are ghetto and have attitudes. When they take you in the back (temporarily) to do your vitals and ask you general questions the rooms are small and no privacy ( no sliding glass door or wood door... only a curtain for other ER clients to hear your personal information. They room they put me in had fresh blood drops on the floor, trash on countertop, trash on floor, keyboard filled with dirt/dust in between the keys and the computer mouse turned upside down into the floor. No one cleans in between Er client check ins. DISGUSTING. The Er lobby waiting area is small and always jammed packed, yet they have a stupid sign that says practice safe distancing due COVID. They o ok Blu have one television. The cushions on the chairs are flaking and ripping. This Hospital went downhill, nothing like the good old Wilmington Hospital, before Christiana Care took over it. It is a hit and miss with having a great nurse who truly cares and the aides who come into your room have attitude/air amongst themselves, tossing the tissue box, hard for them to speak clearly and friendly to greet you. Whenever you ask a question about ANYTHING, you are told they don't know, ask the doctor/nurse/case manager etc; This is the WORST hospital to go to. ER is ALWAYS a 6 hour wait and possibly longer. When you question them, they tell you" there's no beds/rooms/other people here have been waiting for before you... in such a cocky tone. You are just a another number to them & they lack compassion and understanding.once you get your own Er room, all the professionals ( doctor/nurse/radiologist/ etc; all move at their own pace and lack updating each other/communication amongst themselves and with their patient. You are better off dying in the comfort of your own home then going to the hell hole hoping for help and better health.

Father is being bullied in to paying for his dentist visit again and for the entire denture set, Again.i know that he paid for it because I was the one who took him, and paid for it in full. They are saying his last visit was not paid for (when he only was there to pick up his dentures and make sure they fit properly.) We were told after the process started that the only visit he had to pay for was the first few x-rays, then removal of the teeth, and then for the molding of his mouth. ALL PAID FOR ON THE DAY OF $80 EACH TIME. THEN THEY WANTED $900+$900 UPFRONT ($1800) FOR THE TOP AND BOTTOM DENTURE. Now he has been getting bills and now in collections for over $1900. When I seen his folder on the last visit when checking out it said paid for in full

My father & I just tried to visit my very ill & distressed mother in inpatient. The security guard & receptionist behind the front desk would not allow me to see my mom. They were unduly rude, would not clearly explain, & ultimately kicked me out of the building entirely (beyond not allowing me to visit my mother) saying they didn't have time to "watch me" in the entrance of the hospital while my father visited with my mom. We were polite yet treated horribly, yelled at & made to feel as if we'd done something wrong by the Christiana Care staff simply for asking to visit my sick mom. I would've appreciated at least some basic decency & willingness to listen or kindly explain their policy. This was not offered. We had visited previously without this issue. From my phone calls with my mom, I can only assume & hope that she's being appropriately cared for here. The way we were just treated makes me, for the first time, seriously question the quality of care at this facility. She cannot currently stand up for herself as I can. I'd like a discussion with the Christiana Care management to clearly understand their visitation policy, account for the disgusting behavior of their reception, & ensure that my mother is being afforded the basic respect that I was denied today.

What kind of doctor doesn't see sick patients??? Recently switch to Christiana care primary care because I moved and this is the 1st time in my life that a Doctor's office refuses to see patients if they are sick! What kind of clinic sees anyone unless they are sick??!

Worst dental experience ever. Go to experienced dentist to ensure you receive proper care, pain free and no issues after the procedure is done, like I did. I would not recommend.

I was waiting to get my wisdom teeth removed along with a decayed tooth since June, it took until August to get me scheduled and then they couldn't find a vein on me so then I had to wait until October, fine. I've finally got my teeth removed and now on one side I have a hole that hasn't closed up because the stitches weren't placed in properly. I have to now call in AGAIN to make an appointment to go back and have them fix it because it could become infected. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Everyone here was wonderful to me from reception to getting my teeth pulled. I had 3 teeth pulled and they did a great job. I would recommend them. Caring and great people.

I had to have all my teeth extracted and i couldn't have chosen any other place that treated me with the compassion and respect the way Christiana Care Wilmington Hospital did!!! i was sedated and the process took 45 minutes tops. I'm currently healing and waiting patiently to get my new teeth. Hopefully i can regain my confidence and learn to smile without covering up my mouth. The Staff and Drs there are so professional and caring. Very Satisfied with everything!!! I highly recommend them!!! Thanks Again!!!

Broke a tooth they weren't supposed to touch, then they tell me I can't see a real dentist until a month and a half. Now it's a month and a half later and they still can't seem to fit you in!!!!

Currently sitting here at 10:30 with an appointment set for 9:30. Not sure how long this is going to take. What I do know is, if you go to any other doctors office and are an hour late, you're getting charged. Don't take on a bunch of people if you cannot get through them in an orderly fashion.

In regards to the Administrative assistant at the Wilmington hospital. (Dental) She was more compassionate, helpful, and assisting than anyone I've spoken to in the Delaware area. After attempting to be seen for months, she finally found a spot for me. I can't tell you how much this brightened my day, and in effect my life. Keep hiring people like this!! -Benjamin Wilson
