Dr Chris loves his job! He enjoys the long-term relationships that pediatric dentistry allows him to have with his young patients and their families. Dr Chris is committed to providing high quality dental care while giving children a positive experience during their visits. Whether its through jokes or singing songs, Dr. Chriss playful manner makes the office a fun environment.
Loving kids since he himself was a kid, Dr Chris at an early age wanted a career that involved children. He also enjoyed science and working on art projects. With each educational step from high school to college and through dental school, the vision of his dream job became ever clearer until it materialized in him becoming a dentist for kids!
A San Francisco native, Dr Chris received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley. He went on to dental school at UCSF, graduating with honors and receiving awards for research and community health. Dr. Chris completed his pediatric specialty training through a residency and fellowship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Concurrent with his advanced training, he completed research culminating in a Master of Science in Oral Biology, as well as service on the Universitys faculty training residents and students.
Dr Chris is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and has co-authored several scientific articles in the dental literature. Dr Chris has been in private practice in the Bay Area since 2005. He is grateful for being able to serve the Peninsulas children from his Palo Alto office since 2010. When hes not caring for patients, Dr. Chris enjoys helping his wife Anne chase after their son James.

I graduated from Foothill College with an AS Degree in Dental Assisting. My passion is working with kids and helping them learn the importance of oral hygiene. My hobbies include reading and traveling the world with my husband and daughter.

Doctor Lee was very friendly, sincere and super down to earth. He answered and explained all my questions. The office staff was nice and the hygienist was amazing making my son feel very comfortable. I would recommend Dr.Lee!

The dental hygienist was amazing. She let Our daughter she the tools she was going to use and sort of participate in her experience. I dont think it would have gone well without her help!

Dr. Lee is a wonderful pediatric dentist who is kind, caring and very knowledgeable. His staff is also very friendly and thorough during check-in, cleanings and check out. We're really glad we found this wonderful practice.

My daughter has struggled with going to the dentist for a couple years. We came to Dr. Lee and in the first appointment he was able to examine her. There's just something about him that kids relax and feel safe.

All 3 of my kids have been going to Dr. Lee since they were little. When our now 15 year old daughter was 6, she fell and badly chipped her two front teeth. Dr. Lee did an amazing job reconstructing those teeth and you would never know that anything happened. We highly recommend him - his staff is super friendly and always very professional.

We had never been to the dentist and got a referral to Dr. Lee from a family friend. Staff were friendly...we got an appointment quickly and both my kids were seen at the same time. No fear of the dentist for these kids. Office is clean...every thing was sanitized between patients...a bright and open space...Dr. Lee is knowledgeable and friendly to both parent and child.

Our girls have been seeing Dr. Lee for five and a half years now. In that time, has always been kind and careful with them, leaving them with no fear of dentists. He's also always on top of things, with advice as to whether to watch and wait or to intervene, and I've found over time that his advice is right on the mark as to whether something is worth subjecting the girls to more procedures (yes on braces and sealing teeth, no on a slightly cracked baby tooth that was painful for a couple of weeks and then was ok).
