As a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, Dr. Christian J. Luzar specializes in total mouth rehabilitation using implants, crowns, bridges, partials and dentures. He also has expertise in the dental management after head and neck cancer, congenital or acquired deformities of the head and neck, and advanced cranial trauma.
His rigorous training prepared him for the fields he excels in today. After achieving a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton, and earning his D.M.D. (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, he completed three years of a hospital-based residency at three Veteran's Affair Hospitals in New York and Kansas before taking a one-year hospital Fellowship at the University of Chicago to prepare him for his specialty.
Along with his training, Dr. Luzar sees the potential of the many recent advances in dental technology and materials that allow him to find creative yet effective solutions to complex oral problems. Even after years of training and experience, he is ever willing to incorporate exciting new innovations into his practice, which has further developed his expertise as a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist.
When away from his thriving practice, Dr. Luzar shares his gifts with those in need as he offers his services to the Veteran's Affairs in Loma Linda, the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission and California Care Force. He was also featured on The Doctor Show with the American Health Journal.
