I appreciate having the time to form relationships with my patients and their families, all while seeing my patients transform during treatment. Not only do my patients smiles change, but they gain a greater self-esteem and much stronger confidence as a result of their treatment!

When she was eight, Dr. Christensen decided to become an orthodontist: because of the awesome experience she had with her orthodontist! She loved the fun and friendly environment, and was excited to see how her Phase 1 (as a child) and Phase 2 (as a teen) treatment changed her smile.

Now, many years later and after dental school and her orthodontic residency, she is ecstatic to serve her community by improving peoples smiles and confidence. Dr. Christensens hope is to have the same positive impact on the lives of her patients that her orthodontist had on hers!

I enjoy putting my skills and experience to practice each and every day. Its fulfilling to give each patient an individualized treatment plan that suits their needs and preferences, and follow that plan to a beautiful finished smile.

In addition to her schooling, Dr. Christensen regularly participates in continuing education. This ensures she: remains up-to-date on the latest technology; gives patients the best treatment possible in the most comfortable manner and least amount of time; and offers a variety of orthodontic options that cater to her patients preferences.

Dr. Christensen and Lance have a young daughter, Logan Grace, who is the apple of everyones eye. Their immediately family also includes a terrier mix, Indy Lou, who they adopted while Dr. Christensen was completing her orthodontic residency.

When shes not seeing patients, you can find Dr. Christensen running with her family, shopping at Costco, or otherwise spending quality time with friends and loved ones. They love going to the lake, exploring the mountains, and relaxing at the beach.

Additionally, Dr. Christensen and her husband are active in NextGen Philanthropy. This organization brings together young professionals to learn about needs in the Central Valley and then pool their knowledge, skills, and resources to help nonprofits addressing those needs.

I hold an A.S. degree, am a dental assistant, and have been with this practice since 2005. Working in our clinic, I assist Dr. Christensen in all aspects of patient care, along with educating and encouraging patients to keep up on their home care. We have a great camaraderie at Christensen Family Orthodontics and will make your orthodontic experience enjoyable!

Family keeps me busy outside of work hours. I have a daughter and son in their late teens, and a dog, Bandit. I love to hike, spend time at the lake, garden, and attend any activity or event that my kids are interested in.

I have a teenage son, Cameron, and watching him wrestle keeps me busy on weekends. We also have a French bulldog, Brody. I love hanging out with my sisters, including my twin, and my family. I also like trips to the beach and being outdoors.

I have worked in general dentistry and orthodontics since 2008, joining this practice in 2019. My days are spent in our treatment area, where I assist Dr. Christensen with procedures, provide patient care and encouragement, and do all I can to keep people comfortable and smiling. Everyone here is super nice and understanding: I know youll love being part of our family!

When I go home in the evening its to spend time with my husband, daughter, and stepson. We have lots of pets, too: a cat, two fish tanks, a snake, and four guinea pigs. Our family loves camping, roller skating, dirt biking, and cruising.

Having braces early on in my life really peaked my interest in the dental field. After high school, I went through a dental assisting program that I loved! After my program I struck gold and started working at CFO. CFO is my first job in the dental word so everyday Im learning something new and exciting. I plan to continue my education and gain more skills in order to help more patients.

I am such a Disney & Marvel fanatic. My boyfriend and I have 1-year old pitbull named Bailey who we adore. I am also very family-oriented and spend as much time with them as possible because they are so important to me.

We all say it, but it is the patients! It is so much fun to see each and every one of you every six weeks or so. Orthodontic field is great because you truly get the opportunity to build relationships with patients and their families.

Often you can find my family and I roadtripping. I love going to places weve never been before. When the kids are away, you can find my husband and I taking cooking and dance lessons. Oh and speaking of dancing, one of my life goals is participating in a flash mob, so if you're someone who can make that happen, let me know!

Outside of work, youll find me hanging with family and taking care of my beloved cats. I also hopeto get more involved with non-profits in the area. So, if you know of any opportunities for me, definitely let her know.

So, I'm actually Dr. Christensen's husband and one of my favorite parts of working here is helping my wife achieve her dreams of having her own practice. She's wanted to be an orthodontist since she was 8 years old and I get so much enjoyment helping her thrive in her career. I also love helping patients and working with our incredibleteam!

You'll find me doing several things behind the scenes at the office, including marketing, IT, building maintenance, payroll, and whatever else the office needs. My background's actually in the corporate world where I worked at Red Bull and various advertising agencies; however, I love my new line of work.

When I'm not at the practice, you'll find me hanging out with my wife and toddler. Our toddler definitely keeps us busy with art projects, riding bikes, visiting the park, and whatever else her curious mind wants to do. Whenever I have time to myself, I enjoy reading and surfing.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.

Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!

Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.
