He loves spending time with his wife, Amanda, and dog, Bosley. Erik enjoys the outdoors and spends most of his free time hiking, running, fishing, camping, gardening and playing slow-pitch softball. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, but please dont hold this against him.
Jacki was born and raised in the Amana area and lives in Middle Amana with her husband, Gary. Jacki loves spending time with her family, which consists of two daughters and three grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family. She enjoys spending time outdoors, playing Euchre and frequently visits Wisconsin, where she enjoys canoeing down the Grant River.
Brandi is from Marshalltown and met Dr. Christensen while he was working at the Primary Health Care Marshalltown Clinic. When Erik transitioned to Amana, both he and Brandi knew they wanted to still work together. Brandi still lives in Marshalltown (yes, she drives that far!) with her boyfriend Chad. She has three children, 2 boys and one girl, and loves spending time with her family. She really enjoys kayaking and spending time outdoors.

The staff is friendly and very professional from the moment you walk in and throughout your appointment. They don't try to sell you services you don't need like big city dental offices. I highly recommend Christensen Family Dental.

Dr Christensen does an excellent job of explaining what if anything needs to be done and what to watch for possible issues. Hygienists are great!!

The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere. All know how to do their jobs well. Dr. Christensen is very knowledgeable about his profession and informs you of your teeth health. Having been a chair-side assistant at one time I understand what goes on and the interactions of staff and patients. You will be very happy with your decision to be a patient. Dr.Christensen and his staff are very kind and patient. They make you feel like you are the most important patient every time we go. Scheduling is super easy and convenient. We have had several procedures done beyond our cleanings and all have been high quality and professional. Christensen Family Dental is our one stop dental office. Highly recommend!

Dr. Christensen did an excellent cleaning job on my lateral incisor that was filled with MANY particles & dental cord left by my prior dentist and then to be sure that area was perfectly clean he referred me to Dr. Ballatore in Cedar Rapids--very thankful for his service!

Dr. Christensen, took over the practice after Dr. Mark Marz retired. I have gone there a few times for check ups. This time my husband & I both went for X- rays, check ups & cleaning. I had a tooth that had a piece that chipped off. He gave me some options & we went with grinding it down because it was in the back. He's very gentle when checks your teeth.

I was so worried when my dentist retired. What my family would do after 30 years seeing the best dentist. Dr Christensen stepped in not missing a beat. Keeping long time assistant (who is awesome) and a new assistant who fit right in. Same great care very professional and caring. Doing a great job while not breaking the bank. During our visit today to Christensen Family Dental not only did we get our teeth cleaned with limited discomfort but corrections were made to a procedure preformed at another dentist's office while we were out of town.
