Dr. Christensen has been in private practice in Pinellas County since 1976. He enjoys his work and is more enthusiastic and confident than ever. As a husband and father, Dr. Christensen is a firm believer in family values and carries this philosophy into his practice, giving his patients the care and attention they deserve.
Dr. Christensen grew up in Pinellas County and did his undergraduate pre-dental studies at the University of South Florida. He received an academic scholarship to the University of Tennessees College of Dentistry. He graduated first in his class and received the Faculty Medal.
After three years of general dentistry, he was selected from candidates around the country to attend his hospital residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. While there he studied surgery, anesthesiology, and pathology.
While in private practice, Dr. Christensen takes many continuing education courses including certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Pinellas County Dental Association, American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, Florida Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, and Florida Society of Dental Anesthesiology.
