Dr. Massey is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which is the highest standard of care designation in our specialty. She is a 2009 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry and attended LSU School of Dentistry for her pediatric dental training. Dr. Massey has several years of private practice experience and most recently was working as a faculty member at LSU School of Dentistry.
Dr. Massey has New Orleans roots and much of her family is in the area, so she is excited to have found her permanent practice home. She is excited carry on the legacy of Dr. Shaw's outstanding practice and plans to continue the same great care with the wonderful staff you have come to know and love. Dr. Massey and her husband have two children, ages 5 and 2. They enjoy going to festivals around the city, taking walks with their dog Khloe, eating all types of New Orleans cuisine, and watching football. Dr. Massey is truly passionate about pediatric dentistry and uses a friendly, gentle approach tailored to each individual child.
Dr. Shaw is a Pediatric Dental Specialist whose practice is limited to the oral care of infants, children and teens. Following her dental education from Georgetown University, she recieved her post doctoral training at LSU School of Dentistry.
Dr. Shaw is a member of the Dental Staff at Children's Hospital. Here she is chairperson of the Dental Department and helps train future pediatric dentists, giving them the skills necessary to be dedicated and caring pediatric dentists. Dr. Shaw is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at LSU school of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Shaw is committed to providing excellence in pediatric dentistry and was voted by her peers as the top pediatric dentist in Metairie, for the past 6 year in a survey by her peers in New Orleans Magazine. Her lifetime of dedication to the dental health of children is remarkable. She treats every child as if they were her own and continues to help the children in her community with care and compassion. She believes prevention of dental disease is the most critical factor to establishing a happy, healthy smile that will last a lifetime

I love Dr. Massey and the entire staff. They are patient and high spirited. I have three kids and it can get tough with dental visits, they are always kind, helpful and I never feel rushed.

I cannot say enough to praise Dr Massey and her staff. Our child had an accident after hours on a weekend, and Dr Massey was available to evaluate and help. Our office follow up visit consisted of prompt reconstruction of our child's teeth, seeing her smile once again.

Fabulous dentist for children! The staff and Dr. Massey are amazing. My son is not even three and he loves going to the dentist and is not at all afraid. They take a lot of time with each patient, are very easy to schedule with, and explain each thing they are doing not just to the parent, but also to the child, something which really helps de-mystify the experience for little ones. Our family has used this practice for years and we are fortunate to have such a wonderful place that shows such care for our kids!

Dr Massey and her staff are extremely caring and professional. No matter the concern you may have about your child going to the dentist her staff has been through it all and gladly handles it. I highly recommend she and her staff for not only your typical child but also for special needs kiddos like our son. She and her staff are amazing!
