Dr. Kim graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. He then received his dental degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2001, and completed a dental residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Davidson is a life-time resident of this community. He founded this dental practice 30 years ago, and as he is retiring, he chose Dr. Kim to take over the practice. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, with a B.A. in Psychology, and the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he received his D.D.S..
He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. Upon leaving the Army he was a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland Dental School for 5 years. At the same time, he was also establishing his private practice in Catonsville. Dr. Davidson and his wife, Beth, have 2 sons and 3 grandsons. They are active in their church and love to golf and travel.
Melanie is a dental hygienist, and has been with the practice for 6 years. She graduated from Hood College with a B.A. degree in 2002 and from CCBC in 2010 with a A.A.S. degree in dental hygiene. She's married and has a 3-year-old son. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family and a dog.
Carol is a dental hygienist, and has been with the practice for 20 years. Carol graduated from Middlesex College in Boston as a dental hygienist. In her spare time she enjoys decorating, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

We understand that a trip to the dentist is stressful and that many people suffer from some form of dental anxiety. Our entire dental office has been designed to provide patients with a comfortable stay while waiting to see the dentist. We utilize Nitrous Oxide Gas (laughing gas) to make your experience more comfortable. Whether you are about to have a tooth filled or have your teeth whitened, Dr. Kim will always put your comfort first.

I have need no small amount of dental work and Dr. Kim and his staff have taken very good care of me. The receptionist is always friendly and understanding when I need to adjust an appointment due to childcare needs, his assistant is personable and puts me at ease, and Dr Kim explains everything before beginning work and does GOOD work. I have had poor dental work at other dentists in the past so I am always a bit nervous, but Dr Kim puts me at ease and takes time to answer any questions I have. Dr Kim has performed a root canal, fillings, cleanings, and deep cleanings on me. I was never in pain during a procedure, any discomforts I had were immediately addressed, and they were understanding of my listening to music during the root canal to stay calm. I really can't recommend Dr Kim highly enough. He does very good work and you will leave with healthy, clean teeth and a satisfied smile.

Dr. Kim is a very pleasant dentist. I took my 11yo daughter for a cleaning. He answers questions with knowledge and patience. He and his assistant are great with kids. It was an efficient but comprehensive visit and all of my questions were answered in a way I could understand.

Great experience. The front desk was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was checked in and seen promptly. Dr. Kim was very thorough and addressed my concern. His assistant also was very nice and knowledgeable. The whole staff worked very well together. As a result I am switching to Dr. Kim as my regular dentist.

Dr. Kim is a good dentist. He is attentive to any concerns, and was quick to offer to remedy an issue with a mouthguard that I previously got from him. He usually does the teeth cleaning himself, and I've always had a pleasant experience. The office is clean.

He took the time to answer any questions I had, and his procedures are quick and painless. If you have to have a crown made, he does not have to take impressions which are messy and gag you. He takes an impression just by scanning the tooth. He has the latest technology which makes the dental appointment pleasant and quick. I highly recommend Dr Kim and his office. Check them out , you wont be disappointed! Definitely a 5 star dentist
