Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Choptank Community Health System. It is our mission to support the operations of our Medical and Dental Centers as well as our School Based Health Centers and Migrant Services. Our programs are enhanced with the recruitment of dedicated volunteers who are willing and able to assist the staff that serves and cares for the patients in our community. Volunteers play a very important role in the mission of our organization, and through your volunteer experience, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of many, whether directly or indirectly.
Starting out as Caroline Health Services, Inc., CCHS was incorporated as a private not for profit organization in 1978 to establish comprehensive primary health care services for the residents of Caroline County. In 1980 in Goldsboro, MD our first center opened with 2 providers and is still providing services today.

1 Star Review well deserved! Dear ChopTank Dental Located in Cambridge MD, I have never been so disappointed. I've been a patient at this office for years now and had nothing but good experience until today 4/30/2021! The Staff we're kind as usual. My complaint is how I was treated by Dr. Badri, poor treatment towards me as a patient. Also my appointment was set at 10:45 am this morning and I wasn't treated until 11:50am AN HOUR & 5 Minutes after scheduling, I'm a very business man and my time was not in consideration. You have to do better Chop Tank, I want it to be known publicly that this is MY LAST TIME visiting your Office, Farewell.

The staff was helpful and calming but the Doctor who comes once a month was rough, uncaring, and he had no regard for his patient! I will never ever go there again for an extraction. The tooth was well rooted. He should have realized that in the first 5 min. Also, hot utensils were used fresh out of the warmer and were pressed into my lip which left a red mark on my chin and lip. Overall the only good experience I had was with the nurses!

I made my appointment for wisdom teeth removal over a month ago. When I got there, I filled out paperwork and everything was going fine. I asked if my significant other can come back after I'm done with surgery and the front desk lady looked at me like I had 6 heads and asked what I was talking about. When I stated again that I'm here for wisdom teeth removal she said, no you aren't? The doctor is only here once a month, this is a consultation. When I made the appointment, it would've been nice to know that it was just a consultation; they literally said REMOVAL DAY when the appointment was made. Never mentioned that the doctor was only there once a month. I'm very busy and this was the only time I was able to go. Mostly super disappointed because I had to drive close to an hour to even get there. Make sure your staff give ALL of the needed information when making appointments, maybe your reviews would be better.
