Don't worry Mom - going to the dentist doesn't have to be scary. Sometimes all it takes is finding a provider that can really relate to your child. How do you spot Dr. David in a crowded room full of children? He's the really energetic one. Thankfully, he put all that energy into his training and continues to put it to good use making his patients smile.
Dr. David grew up in northern Virginia before completing his degree in music education at the renowned Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. After spending several rewarding years as a high school band director, he moved to Richmond where heearned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the VCU School of Dentistryat the Medical College of Virginiain 2011. He was inspired to continue his work with young people andwent on to complete a two-year residency program in pediatric dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health with the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York.
In 2013, Dr. David began private practice inHampton Roads by buildingasuccessful pediatric division for one of the largest dental group practices in the mid-Atlantic. He is a diplomate of the American Board ofPediatric Dentistry and is onthe professional staff at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD).
In the event that poor weather conditions result in the delay and closing of BOTH Yorktown County andNewport News Public Schools, we will also be delayed or closed.
