Dr. John has been providing outstanding dental care since 1978. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry, and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association Forensic Odontology Mass Disaster Team, Western Pennsylvania Dental Society and the Pine Creek Dental Study Club.
Dr. John and his wife, Mary Beth, have four sons and eleven grandchildren. He gives back to the community by volunteering with the Rich-Mar Rotary, of which he has been an active member for the past 35 years. He also has participated with Donated Dental Services since the 1980s. Dr. John has been active in the Boy Scouts of America and was the leader of many high adventure trips involving backpacking and canoeing. He is an Eagle Scout as are all of his four sons. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, fishing, camping and skiing.
Dr. Tim has been providing Western Pennsylvania with exceptional dental care since 2008. He earned a degree in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University in 2002 and his dental degree from Temple University in 2008. He completed a General Practice Residency in 2009, which included surgical placement of dental implants, through New York University Mt. Sinai School of Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. He also has an extensive continuing education resume having taken courses in minimally invasive dental care, preventive care in the aging adult, cosmetic dentistry, smile design, rotary endodontics, orthodontics, Invisalign, surgical dental implantology, guided bone regeneration, immediate implant placement, socket preservation, 3D guided surgery techniques, full mouth rehabilitation, and many others. Additionally he is a lecturer at Morristown Medical Center where he helps budding practitioners learn about the dental profession.

Drs John and Tim are great at making you feel like you are part of the family. From the moment I was first in contact with Lisa at the North Hills office, I felt like I was meeting a friend and that's how I have felt with just about everyone else there. Chips is also connected to some of the finest specialists in town, so if you need advanced care, you'll always be in good hands!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience or service. The head office manager Jenise was absolutely incredible. She got me scheduled immediately for a dental emergency.

I had my first visit at Chips and they could not have been any nicer! I voiced my anxiety when I called to schedule an appointment and they were so kind and caring throughout my whole experience! Definitely would recommend!!

Everyone is happy and helpful. My hubby has a fear of doctors but Dr. Chips is so kind and friendly he immediately put him at ease. I have been at ease from day one and I enjoy coming to the dentist. I know I am in good hands at Chips Dental and you will be as well.

The main thing that people fail to look for is the dentist you have are they ADA approved. I'm guilty of that for years but after I did my research I was educated on the ADA certification. Chips Dental is ADA approved and I chose to have my dental appointments with their practice. I'm glad I made that decision but unfortunately it took me years to realize how I was going to benefit having a ADA approved dentist care for my dental issues. I highly recommend Chips Dental Associates to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

To be honest- I was always afraid of going to the dentist. Now-it is a totally different experience. I am put at easy as soon as I arrive. Both Dr. J and Dr. T talks me through whatever they are doing. There's no mysteries with them. I am so happy I found them about 3 years ago. I tell everyone about Chips Dental. Keep up the great work.
