A graduate of the esteemed University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Dr. Agnew received advanced training and graduated from the prestigious Swiss Denture Academy. He continues to pursue advanced training and research in the art of cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of several renowned professional dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the Orange County Dental Society.

I liked this office until I had to be numbed more than ONCE. Every time he came back I wouldn't be numbed. He seemed frustrated I wasn't getting numbed and kept working on me even though I was in pain. He talks really rude to his assistants which bothers me quite a bit considering hard they work. He does a good job work wise, but is still very rude. Besides that, office staff and assistants are very kind.

OMG really that Michael Hinton person who wrote a GREAT review, the girl in the picture with him just happens to work for this Dr. Whelan too funny. This place is a rip off. You go in and See Dr. Whelan then they make you pre-pay for treatment you didn't do yet and if you don't they give you a hard time. Then another dentist dose the treatment not the droctor you saw at the first appt. DON'T step a foot in this place and don't ask for a refund it takes 4-6 weeks to process (they say) it needs to go through the channels. They are all fake. only nice one is the check in girl. The treatment girl is nice till she gets your money. ALL ABOUT MONEY. STAY AWAY. Did you notice the great reviews have no pics of people or names, they probaly have staff write them.

Real clean and modern office. Got me right in and hygenist was really nice and spent a long time cleaning my teeth. Would recommend to the rest of my family and friends.

My 2 twin boys, husband Michael, my Mom and Dad, Brother, Sister, friends, and even me,all have our dental care here at the office. And the doctors are such great guys they do it all at no charge for us. Recently, my husband Michael needed a new crown and of course he came here- and in his words said "it's the best crown" he's ever had, and was so excited the day he got it, he went and showed it off to his parents! I have enjoyed working for Dr. Lim and Dr. Whelan for almost 4 years! Thank you so much Dr. Lim and Dr. Whelan for being such great bosses and taking care of my friends and family!

Never ever again. Up sell, up sell, up sell is all they know they are worse than an HMO office. They treat you so sweet then hit you with a treatment plan that cost more than my car. I changed to a PPO to get better service and you know what I'd rather have my HMO any day then go there. When I called they said they took my insurance and because the fees were so high I called my insurance and they don't just another way to get you in the door, and the review from Jennifer Nuley she works there. LOL of course she's going to write a great review for them they pay her. to to funny and sad all at the same time.

Dr. Whelan and his staff really know how to treat a patient well and tell you only what you really need to have done! From moment I called to schedule, the front girl was super nice. They got me in the next day, a Friday, which was great because it was my day off. Other places I called were closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Once I got to office, which is right in same center as Harkins movies, I knew this would be a good experience. They have a really nice atmosphere with all updated equipment. The assistant took my xrays which didnt hurt at all and I could see them on the tv while they were being taken. Pretty cool. Then Dr. Whelan came in, looked at my xrays and in my mouth and assured me I still had zero cavities and just needed a cleaning with the laser. I was relieved to hear I still had no cavities because I had a tooth that was bothering me. But, he told me it was normal sensitivity and to start using sensodyne tooth paste. Then when the girl cleaned my teeth she was very gentle and the laser really worked well. She used some special rinse after the cleaning and laser that made my breath smell fresh for a week! All in all it was a great experience and anyone looking for a great dentist, with great staff should go in and see Dr. W!

My entire family has been going to Chino Hills Dentistry for the past year. We have had several bad experiences at other dental offices and was so glad to finally find a professional dentist with a passion for what they do. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable the minute I walked in for my first visit. I was so happy when I finally found Dr. Lim, he gave me the smile I have always wanted!!!! I would definitely recommend Chino Hills Dentistry to anyone looking for perfection.
