I brought my 4 year old son here who was really nervous and scared. He hadnt been in since before covid and couldnt even remember the experience. Shawn helped us and did such an INCREDIBLE job interacting with my son I was so impressed! He changed the image my son holds in his head of "the dentist" and 100% will be coming back here. He deserves a raise and recognition for his impeccable work ethic and customer service!

We have been coming here for quite a few years. My little one has autism and everyone has been great here! The person I want to acknowledge the most is Brandon. He is so amazing with our daughter! She trusts him and let's him do his job which can be tricky at times. He was able to get xrays on her with no problems and with no help from me. I was honestly shocked. It was like he spoke her language which not many people can do that, nor do they understand it. Brandon is such a gentle soul and he is so good with the kiddos, especially kiddos on the spectrum. Every Dr we have seen has been great as well. We are so grateful to have such an amazing dental team to care for our kids!

Constant problems with billing, pressure to have a spacer added on my 7 year olds back molar that they even admitted it might ruin. I have denied and ignored the spacer for over a year, but still getting pressured to have it done. Then, the bite wings, x-rays every visit, and oh they NEED the nitrous for every procedure. I have denied the nitrous constantly but they try to assure me, "you used it last time." I denied x-rays to be done every single visit rather to have them done every other visit and they looked at me like I was robbing them or a terrible dad. Any little bit, unnecessary added step, for extra money. Deny it, they still pressure it, and add it on the billing anyway. Today was the first time my son has cried at the dentist. Now his older brother doesn't want to go after him while there's another little girl crying in the other room. I don't think I have ever wrote a review on anything in my life but have just gotten tired of it. Weirdest part, I feel like they are pushing us away, like they have enough patients here as it is and don't need us.Geez, it's supposed to be a dental office, customer service?

My regular dentist recommended I bring my son (3 yrs) to a children's dentist because he would not cooperate with them. I came here and he does amazing. He loves the super friendly staff, tvs in the ceiling, and the balloon at the end. He's almost 5 now and actually asks to come back. Highly recommend!

This place has really gone down hill. We have been going to Children's Dental Care since 2010 and used to love it but unfortunately the new employees at the front desk have pushed us to search for a new dentist. About a month ago I called to reschedule an appointment because my daughter was sick. It was a Monday (they are closed on sunday) so I called first thing Monday morning, I am not the type to cancel or no-show to appointments but we are living in a Covid world and I figured the techs and dentist didn't really want to be digging around in my kids mouth when she is sick. It was NOT confident for me, I still had to bring my other daughter in! The lady at the front desk told me that "because I didn't give 24 hours notice" (remember they were closed the day before, also, kids get sick!!) that " if I did it again that they would no longer see us." What the heck?! We have been going here for 12 years, you can look at our track record and also, I'm sure it's also "your policy" to have clients cancel when sick because of covid. I was absolutely disgusted when I got off the phone. I called again today because I had a question I needed someone in ORTHO to answer, not some one at the front desk. I asked if I could leave a message and the woman on the phone was clearly annoyed and told me that she "didn't know if they would get back to me." Honey, I'm spending thousands of dollars on orthodontic care, I would hope someone can make time to call back their patient. We are bummed because we do like the techs, orthodontist and dentists but I just can't stand the treatment from the front desk.

DON'T LET THE HIGH RATING FOOL YOU! These people bribe customers to give them only the highest rating "for a chance to win a raffle" to Great Wolf Lodge etc. These people clearly don't require dental knowledge from their receptionists. They can't even properly explain my son's treatment to me. The loud manager lady who sits behind the receptionists is too busy gossiping and laughing obnoxiously to help with a high volume of people checking in. They prioritize customers who have better insurance and treat people with state insurance like second class citizens who aren't allowed to see the "good" dentists. Children's dental care in Kent is clearly run by money grubbers, not by people who truly care for kids. Not to mention their Covid protocols are bare minimum. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Just know, small or big cavity your child will get a crown. I took my 3 year old son there. Since he is so scared of treatment they had to put him under anesthesia. I could not go with him, they just took him away ( him screaming obviously terrified why this lady is taking him away from his mama) That was already so wrong! And I should have seen that as a red flag! I wasn't allowed to go with him or stay with him. So sitting there not knowing what's going on and how they put him asleep and how they treat him, broke my heart over there. I asked the doctor ( Dr. Kirk) to not do crowns and just do fillings. Since his cavities weren't too big. He was good and talking and that's about it. Once my son was unter their care they just did what they wanted. 3 crowns and one tooth pulled. Of course! It's easier and costs more money. So good for them and not good for my son. I trusted him to do a good job on my sons teeth cause he sounded really like a doctor that cares and will try his best to save the teeth but instead my son got terrified in there and got unnecessary crowns. Quick and easy for them but not the best treatment for a patient. If you wanna save your kids teeth, not traumatize them and not end up with crowns don't go here. Find a doctor that lets you stay with your child and tries to save their teeth.

Just switched to this dental care- Dr. Julie is great. She is the only reason I plan to come back. The receptionists are rude, when I called to set up my kids appts, whoever answered was beyond annoyed to set up a whole 4 kids. The day of their cleaning appts, they were not friendly at all up front. Lastly, my littlest had his appt cancelled bc of the snow day we had, and no one bothered to call back to reschedule his appt. I had to call, I even waited a week to see if anyone would call. Unprofessional.

This place is AMAZING. They go above and beyond to make your kids feel like there is mo reson to be concerned at ALL. They even have TVs in the ceiling and the kids can pick a movie or cartoon and wear headphones so they cant even hear the tools scrape their teeth or if need be, the drills or anything!!! It is a fun and friendly environment and even WAY before the pandemic it has always been so clean. Honestly have never felt so comfortable in an establishment like this. <3

I could not be happier with our experience with this office. My 8 year old had to have a tooth pulled and few other things done, they made both of us feel calm! The way they explain things to your child and how quickly and wonderfully they get work done is a life saver. Wonderful communication, lots of patience with him and they made sure he was comfortable throughout the whole process. I am so pleased that we found this place, my son will definitely continue going here.

My kids have been patients for 7 years here. Every visit has gone well. The staff has always been kind and professional. My 4 yr old had a dental emergency this weekend and we were able to be seen in less than 2 hours. Above and beyond exceptional care! So thankful for their time and the care my son received.

I am removing my children from children's dental care. They are the most unprofessional dental office I have ever encountered. I am currently going through a legal custody dispute, and not only did this office allow my ex to remove me from my daughter's file, they also gave my ex information on my other children. One of their staff members also texted my estranged sister, and relayed (incorrect) conversations that I had with other staff members. They have violated every HIPPA law in the book. I encourage you to look for a more professional dental office.

Dr. Alison is so kind and she explains things to your child in a way they will understand. She touches their forehead to soothe them and makes sure they don't feel unnecessary pain. She hasn't seen my daughter for a year and only once or twice before and remembered what she wanted to be for Halloween in 2019 and I think that really speaks for her character. She honestly cares about her patients and I appreciate her for it. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. Her nurse for the day was also amazing and good conversation while we waited (her name started with a K I believe)

Beware, they will perform treatments on your children even though you request they not be done via their chart. They do not cross-check insurance X-ray coverage prior to doing treatments - rely on a piece of paper to be completed by someone coming with your children. If you have children that go by themselves (age >= 16 and can drive themselves) and have requested it be marked in their chart to not perform the service, they don't check this and do it anyway and expect you to pay for it. The first time I paid the charges, requested it be marked in their chart (which they agreed). Second time, did the bitewings anyway and now expect me to pay for them times 3 kids. #childrensdentalcare

The staff is wonderful with my children. The office is also fun and inviting for the kids. They enjoy coming here to get their teeth cleaned. Not too long ago I called to make a same-day appointment after one of my kids knocked her tooth out. They said they could get her in same day but previous xrays showed that the baby tooth was going to fall out soon anyways. Saved me time and worry. I highly recommend this place.

BAD communication. Drove an hour down today just to be called 10 minutes before out appt started only to be told they had to cancel. Missed a whole day of school and waisted a lot of gas. Unnecessary and rude.
