Dr. Sunwoong Steve Choi completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2005. Selected as one of the most outstanding graduates of the University that year, he was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.
Following his general dentistry training, Dr. Choi completed his 5 years of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. During his specialty residency, Dr. Choi obtained a medical degree and also completed 1 year of general surgery training.
He is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and California Dental Association. Dr. Choi is both a licensed physician and a dental specialist. He is also licensed to administer general anesthesia.

I was referred to this dental office from our primary Family dentist due to the sensitivity level my daughter faces when it comes to dental services. The staff is extremely helpful and super sweet! The facility itself is welcoming and comfortable for all children and they even have toys for the little ones! I am so glad I found this office and encourage all to obtain dental services from them!

My son had an appt this morning with full sedation. We got greeted by Abdi who check us in. The dr later came out to talk to me regarding the procedure and answered all my questions. After that the anesthesiologist came out and gave me a breakdown of what I should expect and also answered all my questions as a worried mom. When my son was done Abdi the receptionist made sure she gave my son a goodie bag with the toys he had his eye on before he went into the procedure room. When he woke up and saw his goodie bag was the highlight of his day! THANK YOU ABDI!!!! And thank you to the drs for taking great care of my boy!

So the long story goes like this, this is in a window of about one month: Appointment 1: We show up with our boy, and "they don't have us listed" that we are supposed to come in. I explain to them that I scheduled the appt. last week, and they eventually accommodate a quick appointment to see our son, they tell us to come in for the next visit, and that he needs to come in fasting for a procedure. [Strike 1] Appointment 2: We show up at 1pm for our appointment, and they can't see us again because "the doctor had to go home." Keep in mind the kid hasn't ate all day waiting for this appointment. So I didn't want to, but I scheduled the 3rd appointment anyway because he needs the procedure done. [Strike 2] Appointment 3: We show up again, and AGAIN "they don't have us listed" because I didn't confirm the appointment (which I DID through text the day before). They scramble to fit us in, only to tell us that the doctor that took our insurance "is no longer there" and they cannot take our insurance anymore. Once again the kid was fasting, which if you are a parent you can understand how difficult that is. [Strike 3 you're out!] My main problem is this: WHAT KIND OF "PROFESSIONAL" FACILITY are these people running there!? These people are acting like they messed up our food order or something. These are people's lives/schedules you're messing with. We have to plan our days for these visits. Three appointments scheduled, problems with all three. Needless to say we called our old dentist after this, just have to make a longer drive, but at least there's SERVICE there.

First time at the dentist with my son and it was an awesome experience. From the dental service given to their customer service I give this place 5 stars. It was quick and easy. I was hoping to find a last minute dental appointment for school entry and many dental offices were unavailable, booked through the summer with a couple months wait time . Found Children's Happy Teeth online and made an appointment through their easy online system and was booked a 2 days later. Just a couple hours after booking, I received a phone call from their office confirming my appointment and asking if I was interested in an earlier date due to cancellations. I took it and the rest was a breeze! Technicians and Dr. were all super nice and made my first timer feel at ease during his first xray and cleaning. Thank you for such a positive experience!

Such a great experience ! My 3 year old was feeling nervous going in because he hasn't had great experiences when it comes to dental or doctors visits, but the staff was great. They were so nice, patient and did so well with my son and he ended up leaving so happy.

Would not recommend. When we arrived we were told we weren't scheduled for another hour. I pulled up my confirmation email showing proof of our appointment time and was told "it'll be another five minutes" only to wait another 30. The dental hygienist was rough with my daughter. When she was done I noticed my daughter was crying and instead of making sure my daughter was okay she didn't say a word and walked out of the room. I had two appointments for two kids and they felt rushed. We chose this location because of good google reviews and the fact that they are specialized in pediatric dentistry. Nothing about the visit felt tailored to a child other than the circus decor and fun toys after the appointment.

Both fillings my daughter received failed within 3 years. One of them failed twice, they fixed it and it fell out again. Now my daughter has to endure fixing them both again by another doctor.

This is a great dentist office for children. All of the assistants are wonderful and very kind, the atmosphere is nice, and the treatment is honest and professional. I bring both my children here and really appreciate the respect I receive. They allow you to accompany your child if you wish throughout the entire process which helps with my peace of mind as well as my kids'. Highly recommend.

This place is ridiculous,never again will I bring my kids here again,this place overcharged me for my daughter's wisdom tooth,after giving me a written quote, I arrived to get wisdom toothe pulled and they surprised me with price of 148$ more.i was already there so I paid for it .I complained about it and told me that was after ins. Paid. I escalated complaint and got refund , telling me they made mistake.Also seems like everybody points to the next person for responsibility.Than I always make appointments for Saturdays, sometimes I get text for different day.Then they'll tell me I made appointment.I went in there for my youngest child and told me she had cavity, than month later she went in there for cleaning and tell me she doesn't, I guess it disappeared.Seams like every time I ask for dr. Yoseffi he's not there, asked for him to call me back, and I never hear from him, I'm just waiting for my child to finish braces treatment and I'm done with this place.
