I was looking for a new dentist for my kids after moving to Maine. I wanted a pediatric dentist because one of my kids has unusually high anxiety about dentists. Both my kids were very anxious going into their first appointment, but the staff was wonderful- warm and welcoming. When one of my kids got extremely anxious (before they had even gotten into the chair), Chelsea walked them through every tool, every step, every product that would be used. When that didn't solve things, she offered to take him to another room and gave him some choices to let him feel more in control. Her attitude and patience made ALL the difference for him, and he was able to get through the appointment. Having been through a lot of really difficult appointments with him, this one was really great in comparison. I am so appreciative of their entire staff, and especially Chelsea.

Best experience! Just left there today with my 2 year old son for his first check up! I was so nervous leading up to the appointment and now I'm not sure why! Everyone was so loving, patient, and friendly. They're totally used to little ones, and don't make you feel all anxious if your kiddo isn't cooperating. They handled it all with such grace, and therefore my son was able to get a nice thorough check up with no tears! Thankful for them! We will be recommending this place to all!!

This is by far the absolute worst children's dentist office I've dealt with. After failing to return multiple phone calls they canceled my appointment. They cleared my daughter for a surgery she WASNT EVEN CLEARED FOR! Dr. Mark Luciar then argued with me on the phone for over 15 mins. The patient is always right they showed neglect towards my child and her health conditions. Working in a dental office for the past year I am ashamed of everyone who handled this situation and hope I never have to experience this again. Mind you let me remind everyone that Boston Children's said this procedure would have interfered with her ongoing treatment. I am so glad my daughters health was more important to me then to these staff members. These members did not communicate, they did not call back, they did not follow up on her medical history, they did not make sure there was enough time to have everything accomplished. Just plain embarrassing. As a dentist your job is to please the people who pay you by giving them CONFIDENCE in your treatment plan. This did not occur. I'm fact this dentist went on to say "your demanding", "this was your last chance" "I don't know who cleared your daughter" all things that are just very unprofessional and doesn't even make me feel like you have confidence in yourself. The only people who do what you did is someone who was being questioned and immediately became defensive and an all out bully. Being in a dental office I am well aware of needing MEDICAL HISTORY ON A PT before giving care. I hope they don't ever treat someone on anticoagulants because they don't care enough to even look. I am proud to say my children will be getting the treatment they deserve and I won't be shipped everywhere and anywhere just for them to make a buck. My child's health is worth more than money and that's all these people care about. Monday morning they will start at a new dentist, and I am very proud of that. Never will I refer this company, nor my family or friends will be continuing to go here. You have a wonderful day, and I hope no one has to experience what I have.

We Adore Dr. Mark and his team! My Sensory/Adhd son adores going to the dentist due to the amazing patience they all have for him. My child hates brushing his teeth and they help give me tools and suggestions to help us help him to want to brush his teeth! Did you know they made chocolate toothpaste for kids well thanks to Dr Mark we have had more success with brushing! He even did a filling and my child behavior was better then at home My other child adores the office! She also adores that Dr Mark and her Orthodontist are on the same page with treatment plans, and that they should be twins because they are silly and fun to be around! The office during Covid has been amazing, clean and transparent every step of the way! We high recommend this office!

My family loves coming to the dentist. Dr. Mark is so amazing with the kids. We always have the best experience and the kids get a special reward from the machines after the appointment. That's always exciting

Would be ZERO. My daughters had a scheduled appointment a month in advanced. They said they would both have nitrious. I left. A few weeks later i started getting multiple emails confirming their appointments, i even got a call, in which NONE said anything about them not eating. We arrived at the appointment, she started explaining what would happen, i then stopped her and asked, "so shes not getting the nitrious?" She looks and says "oh yes it looks like she was set to". I proceeded to ask if they had to or not, she said "no" and i asked multiple times if they could still do it if she started getting antsy, she assured me -YES- multiple times. The dentist came in and started, my daughter started to cry and he looked at me and says "if your not going to help you need to take a seat", about 30 seconds later i asked if they could do the nitrious since she was crying and "choaking" on her spit and trying to sit up, "NO we cant do that once we have started the proceedure" ((mind you after she told me 3 times they could)). Long story short, she puked, from crying and he looked at me and said "she was not supposed to eat 4hrs in advance". When i asked why noone ever told me he sat there with a dirty look on his face and said nothing. I pointed each one of them out, as a concerned mother would, you told me this and that it could happen, you never told me this, your front office never told me, they called and still didnt tell me, but most of all, you DIDNT even confirm that she did not eat before starting. So had she HAD the nitrious, WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER?? See my point! In the midst of all this i asked about my other daughters apointment too which they then told me she was not set for nitrous like i was told. Well a few hours later they call me to tell me that my family is being dismissed from their office. I asked "why? They didnt inform me, they didnt tell me about not eating, so my child puked, they didnt even know she was supposed to have the nitrious, and we are the ones being dismissed from the office, we were going to anyway, but where did i go wrong here" i asked for a call back and she hung up. Apparently they dont like to confront their mistakes! I will NEVER recommend anyone here. And after talking to a few people, im finding out they have also had issues. Im just thankful that my daughter is okay and she didnt get the nitrious, with haven eaten.
