Doctor Jacob has been working as a dentist for seven years, and exclusively with kids for three. He is husband to a beautiful wife, and father to one beautiful daughter and four handsome and wild boys. When not cleaning or fixing teeth, he enjoys writing novels, watching sports, reading, running, acting, listening to a variety of music, kissing his wife, internet shopping, and chasing his kids around the house. He is passionate about board games.
He was raised in Papillion, Nebraska, graduated from Brigham Young University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in theater studies, and moved to Cleveland shortly thereafter. In 2011, he graduated from dental school at Case Western Reserve University.

This is nice place for children to see their dentist. They have good service, well experienced staffs. I recommend for all families with kids to see and get service here.

All 3 of my children love their dentist here at Children's Dentistry of South Omaha. They are so amazing with Children, especially my younger two. The staff at this office work so well with them, even though my kids freak out about doctor visits. They always leave the office smiling .

I want to start this review off by saying the dentist is Amazing!!! I have an issue with my appointment being canceled without my knowledge!!! I was told that someone contacted me 24 hours prior to confirm. I have not received a call from anyone let alone multiple calls. Not a even a voicemail was left. If that was the case why not leave a voicemail? I am disheartened because I rushed from work pulling my children from school all while having a 2 month old who just received her immunizations. just to be turned around and offered to be put on a waiting list which is no guarantee :( I've never heard of a system such as this but in any event, I'll just have to find a new dentist to go to. It's unfortunate for the poor dentist who's trying to make a good honest living and will lose out on clients due to the lack of communication from the receptionist. What if I changed my number? Would it still have been canceled?

I have been going here since my oldest was 4 he is now 12, my youngest was one and he is now 4... the reason I say this is I have been going here for so long and they never change. Always the best care for my babies. My youngest got his X-rays and all smiles for his 1st time. Everyone is kind and loving and I will always continue to bring my kids here. Thank you so much guys for all that u do.

They were amazing! The whole team, from receptionist to the dentist, was awesome. They made my kids comfortable and were SO quick and efficient. From start to finish, 2 kids 3 and under, it took 30 minutes. Would highly recommend.

We had a great experience at Children's Dentistry! Everyone was very kind and the updated facilities look excellent. Dr. Gowans and his hygienists were great with my kids and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. This helped my nervous five year old a lot!
