In 1976 he moved to Redding and never looked back. He is an avid golfer and skier. Gus and his wife, Jody, recently celebrated the birth of 3 grandsons in a 3-month period. These were their first, second, and third grandchildren. As you may guess, they are absolutely thrilled.
Aaron grew up in Turlock, California just south of Modesto. Dr. Aaron is a pediatric dental specialist and attended University of Texas San Antonio for his residency training. He and his wife are the proud parents of four young children. In his free time, if there is such a thing with a wife and four kids, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and sports.
Dr. Aaron Bjarnason is a specialist in pediatric dentistry. Heis a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. As a pediatric dentist his focus in on infants, children, and young teens. Dr. Aaron is committed to providing dentistry in a safe, comfortable environment.
Aaron grew up in the central valley of California and graduated from Turlock High School. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Marketing. He attended dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During dental school his interest in children and pediatric dentistry grew. He started the Saturday Morning Children's Clinic, which offersfree dental care for inner city children. The programreceived national attention and is still in operation today. To date it has treated thousands of kids and provided dental students access to service opportunities.
Aaron did his two year, pediatric dental residency training at University of Texas, San Antonio. Dr. Aaron was selected from among his peers to serve as chief resident. The focus of a residency program is completely on children. It is this training that sets pediatric dentist apart from others in the dental field. During those two year Aaron learned about growth and development, management of fear and anxiety.

Mom of 4 girls here all 8 and under and can't believe how much they enjoy going to the dentist. Staff is friendly and professional and always take great care of the girls.

Super kid friendly office with great staff and great docs. My son isn't even 2 and he didn't want to leave because he was having so much fun playing with the toys. The exam was quick, efficient, and painless (for me and my son!).

It's always such a great experience taking my little one here. Not only is Dr. Aaron incredible with children and knows his facts, the whole entire staff is amazing they make you feel welcome every time your there. The atmosphere is comfortable and very professional, always a pleasure! Thank you!!

Hands down the best dental appointment ever! Our experience was top notch from the beginning! I dropped the ball on paperwork and they allowed me to take my time in a special area to fill it out online before my appointment... we were stunned by their clean, welcoming and large waiting area complete with toys for the kiddos! We were welcomed with smiles and understanding for our scenario (I was a hot mess that day lol) and then when it was time for all 3 of my kiddos appointments, they had 3 amazing gals working on each one simultaneously!! They were gentle, spoke adoringly to my children, constantly reassuring them of the process and had great sense of humor! The room for check ups and cleanings was the coolest thing I'd ever seen! Awesome decor that all my kids were admiring - it was Clean, fun, welcoming - seating for parents and other children, coloring area and play kitchen! Each child saw the dentist who we all adored and he was able to carry on a conversation with me while rattling off his dentist verbiage to his assistants (and literally the fastest I've ever heard words come out of someone's mouth ... how his gals understood him I have no clue lol) and he was still making us feel like we were all comfortable during the check up! Kids all got new brushes and paste, a sticker and an adorable toy - our check out was just as fabulous she printed out individual receipts per my request and filled out the form for my sons school and asked if we needed notes for excused absence... I'm more than satisfied!!! My only complaint is that they can't take me as a patient being an adult hehehe

What a wonderful experience! Hygienists, front desk and dentist were all so warm, genuine, friendly and experienced. I felt very comfortable bringing my 9mo old for her first checkup. They had plenty of toys for kids and showed a lot of hospitality to us. Shoutout to Kimberly our hygienist who went out of her way to engage my baby and meet our needs. 10 stars!

I was very pleased with the care given to my child and myself. I was welcomed into the room and was able to sit next to my child. Not strongly encouraged to stay in the waiting area like other places I've been. When something wasn't working for my child, they found something that did instead of forcing him to do it their way. Also like some places I've been. Everyone was genuine and so kind. Thank you for taking the time. I'm glad I found you. At least I have one child not afraid of the dentist.

My daughter just turned 2 years old. Toothache yesterday. I googled children's dentists. I found this 5 star dentist clinic. I was worried and suspicious of the good reviews on the Internet, but from the moment I entered the door, I saw a clean, tidy and bright lobby and a very friendly and patient front desk nurse receiving me. I thought I was in the right place. Because my English level is not very good, filling in the information is slow. (There is a corner in the spacious lobby waiting area is a children's play area. There are also many children's toys for children to play in the examination room.) The nurses here are very beautiful and gentle and love children. My daughter cried for a while when she saw the dentist. I didn't expect the dentists here to be so patient and loving. I finally understand why so many people give 5 stars on Google. After seeing the dentist, my daughter was very happy to say goodbye to the doctors and nurses. When I got home, I asked my daughter if she would go to the dentist next time? She is very happy to say that she will see a doctor next time. Very lucky to find this good dentist office today! Very recommended to everyone!

Our girls LOVE Children's Dentistry! Dr. B is the best. The staff is very friendly and excellent at calming a nervous child. When we left our cleaning today, my 5 year old daughter asked when we were going back. 5 stars all the way!

I'm so very thankful for Dr. Arron and everything you've done for my family especially my daughter. She had a traumatizing experience here locally with another dentist that made her very fearful of going to the dentist. Knowing she still needed work done on her mouth I was panicked when I first contacted Children's Dentistry of Redding in 2018. It bothered me so much to see my daughter so fearful. It's been a long process of frequent cleanings, minor work done here and there to build trust and get her comfortable going to the dentist again. Through it all Dr. Aaron had so much patience, he's always kind and always so funny. My daughter now loves going to see him when the time comes. We had our first big appointment today for a tooth extraction and she did amazing! All because of the time and effort he's put in to help her become comfortable under his care. I do not have enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Aaron as well as his whole staff. You've truly touched this Mama's heart.

This dental office is amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful and treat me and my son extremely nice. It was our first time there and my son did great. The atmosphere is very calming which led to my son doing great while getting his teeth checked out. I would highly recommend!

Great front office staff! Hygienists are always helpful in answering questions. Both Dr. Gus & Dr. Aaron are knowledgeable & great with kids (teens too!). All around, best Childrens dentists in town
