Dr. Jolanta Macdonald graduated cum laude(with high honors), earning her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Colgate University in 1996. She then attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2000. During dental school, Dr. Macdonald completed a two-month general dentistry oral surgery externship at Hartford Hospital. She treated children at Childrens Medical Center in Washington, D.C., during her two-year Pediatric Dentistry residency. She graduated in 2002 and has been practicing pediatric dentistry since. In2011, she became Certified as a Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Macdonald alsocompleted an Associate Fellowship through the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2013.
In December 2004, Dr. Macdonald built and opened Children's Dentistry of Northborough. She is the sole owner and works with her general dentist husband, Craig and orthodontist friend, Anita. Children's Dentistry of Northborough is a family practice made up of clinicians that take pride in the excellent dental care they provide.
Dr. Macdonald is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Dentists Alliance, and Mommy Dentist in Business group. She wasa courtesy staff member at Childrens Hospital in Boston from 2004 until 2019 where she was responsible for overseeing dental residents in the clinic.
In her leisure time, Dr. Macdonald enjoys scuba diving, spending time with her family, skiing, and taking photographs of her children, Kaitlyn, Alex, and Madi Rose. She has two goldendoodles named Teddy and Cali and a senior Korat cat name Violet.
Dr. Craig Macdonald joined our practice in 2011 and works with us on some Fridays and Saturdays to offer general dentistry services to our teen and adult patients. Dr. Macdonald graduated from Colgate University with majors in biology and economics.
He attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1999. Upon graduating he continued his education with a one-year General Practice residency at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT. In July 2010, he received the Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Macdonald first entered private practice in Rockville, Maryland, before returning to New England in 2002. He worked as an associate dentist in Hopkinton for four years before arriving at his current location in Natick. Dr. Macdonald is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2013, he completed an Associate Fellowship through the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Bhatt has been practicing in Westboro since 2000. She received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, before earning both a Certificate of Graduate Training and a Master of Dental Science degree in Orthodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

Another wonderful visit to Children's Dentistry of Northborough. My son has been going here for 5 years now and due to their caring and kid centered staff, he has never dreaded going to the dentist. I wish my dental group was this awesome!

I have been taking my son to Children's Dentistry since he was a little kid, and I'm very happy with their services. The staff is extremely helpful and they never let me down. I always tell my friends and family to go to Children's Dentistry of Northborough, for their family's dental treatments.

We've been going to this dentist office for years, and the hygienists and staff are typically so sweet and great to work with. The dentist, Dr. Jolante MacDonald, has terrible bedside manners and shouldn't work with children. My six year old had work done today, and he wiggled too much for her liking so she shut off the TV that is available to the kids during their appointments. She raised her voice at him, and had little patience, which came across clearly during a phone conversation. I wasn't there for the appointment, his Dad came home telling me that she's mean and he doesn't like bringing our son there. This is not the first time he's told me this, but I was leaving some room for an 'off' day. I called the office to share the feedback, and Dr. MacDonald called back. We discussed the appointment and she basically told me that these are the approaches she uses in her 'toolkit' to address fidgety kids. She said we could take our treatment plan elsewhere or he can be sedated next time. Wild! So unprofessional especially at a pediatric office. I appreciated the phone call, but was hoping we could discuss strategies to better support next time. That was not her intention. She is mean, and I don't think she should be working with children. I would not recommend her at all, but the rest of the staff was great and I don't want to take away from that.

My youngest is terrified of the Dentist. When we arrived at our new patient appointment all the boys got super cute little dolphin stuffed animals. My youngest was treated with such care to help him through his anxieties that he actually wants to go back! Thank you to L.A. for helping him feel comfortable at a dentist office!

My 5 year old son who is terrified of the Dentist and always needing to be held down, kicking and screaming with tears in his eyes had the best experience at his new dentist office Children's Dentistry of Northborough. It brought tears of joy and relief to see him on his own being brave with his hygienist and allowing his teeth to be cleaned and even X-rayed for the first time! It was the Staffs demeaner and gentleness that put him at ease. I still cant believe how well he did, we are so happy we switched to Jolanta Macdonald at CDN. I can't speak highly enough.

I wish I could give this place more stars. Phenomenal service. I would not hesitate to recommend Children's Dentistry of Northborough to anyone. The staff is attentive and caring. They understand sensory needs of kids and are great at making accommodations for anyone that needs them.

Highly recommend going to Children's Dentistry of Northboro!!! Dr.Mac was amazing, and so was Taylor. The office is clean, they have a cute tank with Nemo & friends! they have a great staff that cares for your children & their smile !

I took my son here for his first dental appointment. I had a great experience. The receptionist, hygienist and dentist were all excellent with him. The office is gorgeous and a perfect place for kids. My son really enjoyed the over sized activity cube and the fish tank. I recommend this office not only for the quality of care but for being a fun place for kids. Update: My kids are toddlers now and they love going to the dentist. The staff are exceptionally great with children and the office is always beautiful and clean.

Our experience at Children's Dentistry of Northborough was truly exceptional! Our 6 year old daughter was immediately made comfortable by Lynne, and felt at ease with both doctor Macdonald and doctor Dantas. We have visited 2x already and, each time, our expectations were exceeded. We are forever grateful.

We had a great first trip to the dentist today! The office was beautiful and clean and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hygienist and Dentist were excellent with my little one. I'm so glad we made the switch and cannot wait to bring my other children in for their visits.
