Pediatric dentists complete an extra 2-3 years of specialty training after finishing dental school just to learn about the unique oral health needs of children, including those with special needs. You take your child to a pediatrician, you should take your child to a pediatric dentist.

Thank you so much for coming all the way out to Marco and Tommie Barfield today. The children were all so excited to go home with their toothbrushes, pencils and stickers today. I will never forget the wonderful experience of teeth cleaning (or my cavity filling) that you gave me as a child. Your tricks to an easy-going filling, like wiggling your toes when getting the 1st novicane shot, has stuck with me forever! How I got to choose my flavor of gloves was also just amazing :) I am now a 23 year old student and have never forgot how great you guys are...or how crazy those bowties are!

All my kids have been pts of Dr Santiago and his amazing staff for years ! I have nothing but great things to say about everyone ! Everyone is always pleasant , companionate and comforting . My kids have been going since ages 1 now ages 23, 20 and 13 ! They love going to the office

Dr. Santiago and Sally are the BEST! Professional, knowledgeable and amazing with kids. Most kids don't like going to the dentist, but they are patient, kind, fun and quick! The office is extremely clean and well run from the moment you walk thru the door. I am thrilled to have found Children''s Dentistry of Naples and recommend them to all parents looking for a reputable & experienced dentist in Naples for their children.

Both of my boys have gone to Children Dentistry, since they were little. I would never go anywhere else. Karen is our 9 year olds favorite dental hygienist, she is compassionate and explains everything she is doing to our son, to help help ease his fear of going to the dentist. Sally cares for my other son and does a great job communicating/explaining to my teenager to help him understand any concerns and importance of healthy teeth and gums. The office staff is very welcoming and easy to schedule appointments with. Dr. Santiago is kind and caring. I would 100% recommend Children's dentistry to anyone.

I absolutely can't say enough about these fine folks!! We were on vacation at Marco Island and my son cracked a baby tooth. Our dentist at home had refused to pull it saying the adult tooth would soon push it out. Unknowing to us when we went on vacation it had began to access and a big chunk of it came out which started some serious pain in my 11 year old. I googled and theirs was the first place to pop up. Called them and explained the situation and they told us to come in immediately. We arrived and didn't even have to check in . Karen took us straight back to one of the exam rooms. Long story short, from the time we walked in, he was xrayed, numbed, gassed, tooth extracted and back out the door in less than 30 minutes. My son was back out on the beach that evening with very little discomfort. By the next day he didn't even notice it anymore. Dr. Santiago and his staff are amazing. The little details like pausing during the procedure to talk to my son, rub his hair and reassure him really touched me. We have some pretty good folks back in Kentucky but these people absolutely blew me away. When i commented on how fast it went, Dr. Santiago said that when a child is in pain, everything else stops and the focus is on the one in pain. I consider myself a pretty tough old country boy and a veteran too but when he said that my heart literally gushed. I know this may sound silly but i told my wife these folks restored my faith in the fact there are truly some really good people still out there. Now my son says this is the only place he wants to go to the dentist. lol. And I must say that if he did have a problem and i had the money to book a flight i wouldn't hesitate to fly him there to be treated. Great staff and Dr. Santiago is a great leader. Absolutely nothing but love an admiration for these people.

What a wonderful experience at Dr. Santiago's office. Dr. Santiago and staff are kind, caring and nurturing. We had experience with Sally and Karin, both wonderful. We travelled from Sarasota to get my 5 year olds tooth pulled. He had multiple bad experiences elsewhere and I cannot say enough good things about this office. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for a great experience for my child.

I appreciate you being open today and have room for a new patient emergency. My son and I have been out of town for a death in the family. While away my son was complaining about his tooth. We got back late on Sunday and first thing Monday morning I called my son's normal dentist. To my surprise his dentist wasn't able to see him because the doctor wasn't in the office. I frantically started calling other dentists in the area as he needed to be seen today. When I called Children's Dentistry of Naples the woman listened and politely explained that even though they we're not in my dental insurance policy, they would gladly take my son and within the hour. As this office has open appointments for emergency situations, even being new. The office is in a central location and very beautiful. When we walked in we we're greeted with a smile and that continued through the entire visit. I appreciate you being so kind and welcoming.

I highly recommend this practice! The office is impeccably CLEAN, the staff is over the top KIND, and everything/everyone is very professional (appointments, billing, wait times). My kids are always disappointed they call us in so quickly bc they'd love to hang in the waiting room with all of the games (Nintendo wii i think?) Hands down, the best dentist office around! I found this office when we first moved to Naples in 2018. We had lived here for less than a month when my 5yo had major tooth pain where her new tooth was coming in. It was a Friday evening when i realized how bad it looked. I called around to the pediatric dentists i found on Google, but no one would see us after hours bc we were not established patients. When i contacted Naples childrens dentistry, they took my info, and dr Santiago called me within minutes requesting i text pictures of the tooth etc. he determined it was worth us coming in, even though the office was closed. And the staff who came back to the office to help us could not have been nicer. They only cared about my daughter, and never made me feel like we inconvenienced them. We have continued to receive the same service since day 1. This place and the people are truly one of a kind :)

Dr. Santiago is the boss! He has successfully put my very active son's tooth back together 3 times and counting. He and his staff are always professional, compassionate people. The office is so calming and tranquil with soothing ocean noises, pictures of fish and tv screens streaming marine life. I think all dentists office should be this kind of experience. Thank you Dr. Santiago, you are the best!

The front of staff girls were so sweet and accommodating. I called for my son having a toothache and they got me in as a new patient within an hour. Everything went very good and fast. I highly recommend!!!

We were very pleased, we called due to tooth pain, we got in the same day even that we were new patient. Everyone was very nice, the place was very nice and the kid enjoys the games while waiting.

This was our son's first visit to a dentist and everyone there was so nice. The hygienist was super calm and explained everything to him patiently. The office is very kid friendly-we are so glad to call this our son's dentist!
